This game is easily one of the most well done digital board games made. That's not to say I don't have my small issues with it, but they're easy to over look. With 4 victory paths, the game has the potential to be very interesting with every new game. The reason I say "potential" is a lot of the matches tend to have mostly people who will just try and cheese their way to a win through prestige. It's understandable as it's the least risky way to play, but it leads to a more boring match.

Down to the brass tacks here, Armello is, as mentioned, a digital board game for 4 players. Featured as of writing are 4 seperate factions each with their own focus on seperate skills, and 3 unique playable characters in each faction. A quick example, The Wolf Clan focuses more on combat abilities, while The Rat Clan focuses more on subterfuge. Each of these clans have 1 goal, become the new ruler of the land of Armello. There are multiple ways to accomplish this goal:

Killing the blighted King and taking the throne;
Banishing the King and his corruption through the gathering of 4 sacred Spirit Stones;
Having the most Prestige Points when the king dies from his Blight (or if another player kills the king and also dies in the same combat);
or corrupting yourself even more than the King and seizing the throne.

Throughout your turn-based adventure through the land of Armello you'll own villages, explore dungeons and fight both monsters and players. Every turn, if not at a full hand, you'll draw cards from your choices of three piles until your hand is full. These include equipment cards, followers, trickery and subterfuge, items and magic. These add a lot of strategy to your play and help to alleviate the RNG elements of some parts. On top of this, these is also a meta game before the game starts where you can select different rings and medallions for your character that offer small stat boosts and passive abilities, mostly specializing you towards a certain type of victory.

There's a lot left to describe in terms of gameplay elements, but I've done my best to touch on the major factors here. This game is easily worth the asking price, and it's always been a blast every time I launch it. There's a certain depth to the game that keeps it fun, but it's still accessible to new players. Great art, and the light touch of lore for those who look for it is a nice treat.
