Dont be fooled by the graphics of this game. This actually kept me going for hours!

The cut scenes were tear jerking, the history made my cry, and some interaction made water fall down my face. The time it took them to make this game was worth it. Who doesnt love cute owls, and who doesnt fashion themselves to act like a pirate sometimes.

As you start the game, you begin to think to yourself: man, im just one sorry dude, and it just keeps getting worse. but play through the game and read every dialog because to me, its exciting - it sounds very human. Has some very comic-like story telling to it, too that gets the expression across. You'll even forget that having good graphics is part of gameplay.

I played this entire game on the controller, and the part where it gets confusing is when you get to have 3 other people in your team, but other than that, everything is smooth sail.

The game is fun and enjoyable and gives a good sense of collecting coins and completing the game. You may want to look for guides to find some secrets though - i highly recommend it. you wouldnt have guessed that they were even there.

A go-getter game for fellow achievement hunters - ICEY pokes at you.

A splendid game with great graphics and a rather simple storyline depending how you want to play it. The game goes beyond what we would mostly consider as normal game play.
- Follow the narration.
- Linear playthough
- Beat bosses
- Progress thru objectives to finish the game.
You can actually try to bend the game play a little bit, but this does require some research to get those trophies or achievements.

This isnt your typical game - it really isnt. The story is not what goes on within the game, it is what goes on outside the game( i hope im not giving away too much). Check out the guides for this game because there really is a lot more depth in playing this game than the usual hack, slash and go.

This game was just so fun to play and it tells an excellent story. The voice acting is great and some of the humor involved hits the right spot. The game is great even without the DLCs but the DLCs does make the game feel more complete than its regular ending. Besides, the DLC chapters are really fun mini series that lets you meet more of the characters with interesting personalities.

This is an amazing game with awesome story story telling. It led me through an emotional roller coaster from punchy humour to bawling my eyes out over an act of duty...

Excellent game and story. Some of the decisions i make is acually quite heavy on the conscience. Good thing the set of achievements are around to make me reamain a good person. Other than that, this game doesnt get any closer to reality than it can be. A reflection of life indeed. wow...

I was able to ride a goat. Row a boat. Fly a glider, swing through ropes and sing with whales.
I laughed. I panicked. I cheered... and then I bawled my eyes out..

The game play mechanics are unique in a sense that its not exactly "turn based" but more towards "weight based" turn taking: Heavier attacks take longer to initiate and smaller attacks, of course, a lot quicker. The ability to gauge and even estimate where your attacks will land on the time frame is essential if you want to easily pass and beat the game in higher difficulties (and in New Game Plus).
Controller gameplay is preferred, but not required, although the game does play very well and easily on a controller. You get to control a spirit which will aid you and disrupt enemies in an out of fights. It can be controlled very easily with the right joystick on a controller (or mouse).
There is not much replayability, but you can come back to the game and build the skill tree differently. The Golem DLC is irrelevant to my gameplay and style. Although it is cool to have an extra ally at an early state of the game, remember, you also have to split resources. In my case, he was a hindrance more than an advantage. Additionally, the Golem DLC did not add to the story line or give additional missions or content other than an ally.
Great game nonetheless. This enhanced turn based RPG platformer definitely will be loved.

This is a great game if you just want to sit and play through peacefully. Its just the right amount of challenging, and its just the right amount of puzzling also.
The uniqueness of the combination of elements in this game is what makes me want to finish the game.
It doesnt geel old or repetitive, instead, it introduces new ways to navigate through the game and different ways to beat each "level".

This game is especially fun to play with a controller, and more fun to play with a friend.
It has about infinite replayability, but soon you start to find certain patterns and pick paths differently based on
your inventory like keys, weapons, and skills.

It eventually gets to the point that you have to "reroll" to get the character you want. Its not impossible, but it does take a lot of time to build your still tree and to luckily hit your lucky character build.
From an achievement hunting perspective, there are no cheats i have found to make the game go easier; however, you will not get bored from trying to finish the game so many times.
