The perfect game to play with your bro/s.

The gameplay loop is perfect for it. The gameplay loop is intuitive and requires a bit of thinking and understanding but once you understand the gameplay types it requires a lot less thinking. This means that while you and your bro/s are going out and completing this task (all of which are pretty satisfying) there's lots of time for laughing, joking, bants.

There are enough assignments and unlocks to keep things interesting for a lot of gameplay. The weekly assignments are nice just for some amount of play but the events have a lot more fun. The guns are great but get unlocked pretty quickly. This is actually great though because then you can experiment with your loadouts to see which works best for you and for each mission type. Past that, each gun has perk slots that you can experiment with to further tweak your loadout. For even longer interest, the overclocks allow you even further tweak your guns or unlock really neat abilities that can really change how each of the guns play.

In my opinion, difficulty 4 is just enemy spam so it makes it more annoying without it being more difficult.

Despite this game being many years old at this point, the devs still make more content, they've recently added new mission types and mission enhancements. They keep making more cosmetics too, all of which you can get in-game without paying. None of the actual gameplay is behind DLC.

How has this game not won the Steam Award for Labor of Love??
