Game is good, however i have had higher expectations and due to my recent experience with the game, my current review will be negative. It may change at a later time with expectable patches we will receive regarding optimization and gameplay experience.

1)I have 4060 ti 16 gb as gpu, and ryzen 5 5600x with 32 gb ram, i am experiencing severe performance issues that i didnt have at my base game experience. Dropping to 40 fps and fluctuates between 40-60 between environment to environment. Not a pleasant experience but surely it will be optimized.
2)For gameplay experience; i have more than 1000+ hours on dark souls games, my personal feeling towards this one is, this looks nothing like the base game, sure, environment great, great items, more enjoyable experience for the players and different variety of builds, which are legit very great for the enjoyment of the game.
Regarding this subject, it feels genuinely great.
As a side subtopic related to this, most of the mobs, deals insane damage, basically killing 60+ vigor with medium/high armor builds with no effort, there are items in the game such as Scadutree fragments and revered spirit ashes to counter that issue, but why? Why not tweak the enemies rather than completely dismissing enemies significance with an item, you can just make some mob deals less damage and add a dot damage after each attack like black flame effect, or weapons applying death effect each attack rather than dealing cluster**** damage, that just looks lazy design to me.
3)Compared to the main game's map, this one looks very misleading and after revealing 70% of the map, i felt very frustrated due to confusion the map created for me, for example it might take 1-1.5 hour to figure out how to get certain areas, this is not very pleasant and might frustrate people.

Besides these three, everything about game looks good.

A card game with souls difficulty. Sick ambiance, sick gameplay. As long as you don't give up within an hour, you will learn to love and love to learn this game.

Edit: I suck at the game but I love it.

From Software at its peak. Close to masterpiece.

Edit: Had to change my review to "close to masterpiece" because of end game/late game bosses are way too rushed and didn't get any attention like early/mid game bosses. I still do recommend the game but I've never seen from software did something like this, not even on dark souls 2, very disappointing. Expected better from software especially anticipating a great game with great design. Fire Giant and Godskin Duo are the perfect examples of poorly design concept bosses.

Too many bugs to make progress currently, stuck after "nana kissing event", game is not letting me sleep, there is nothing at the memo app, had to get save files from some forum in order to continue the game.

You can buy it, but you're warned.

Edit 2(and last): If you're looking something for your libido, don't pick this one, just go for Succubus Cafe or Koikatsu honestly. Not worth your money. Developer team is really lazy and all they add up was and will be just GIFs with no 3D cam control.

Probably the best FPS game I've ever played. Wasnt expecting to fall in love like this.
This is nothing like PUBG, COD War Zone or whatever battle royale games you're playing and I really hate battle royale games.
This is definitely something else.

Edit: This game is really one of the best FPS games I've ever played.(Highly Addictive.) But the player count is really low and whenever crytek wants to make a matchmaking change, it gets worse. Nowadays I'm having zero fun while playing this due to matchmaking.
Unfortunately I'm gonna change my recommendation for now until they deal with desyncing, matchmaking issues.
You can still buy it on discount but you should also prepare yourself to get frustrated in this game.
Edit 2: They actually fixed matchmaking and most of desync problems with 1.6 patch? I'm speechless, props up to crytek, damn.
Edit 3: After posting edit 2, next game I had a freeze that made me lose my leveled hunter, desync-freeze issues are still going on but at least they fixed matchmaking, so that's something I guess.
