Absolutely delightful game. Super fun and clean - the systems that are in place already make it feel solid - with a little polish, some more content, and a few bug fixes it will really just be the ultimate classic action MMO-like.

Absolute funfest. It's like Pokemon, if Pokemon were volleyball. And it's a Wishes Unlimited game, which means it has all your favorite bits of schmaltz and goofiness throughout the entire game, great music by Lena Raine (of Celeste fame), beautiful and fun creatures with lots of personality, and just a fun, heartwarming little story attached to the whole thing.

It's just a great game. I cannot wait until all of the beasties are fully animated, because I will play it all over again from scratch.

What a clean and fun roguelite experience! If you like Hades, you'll like this. It's much lighter on story, but mechanically it just throws you right in. And it's a visual and audio feast! Good stuff, just a really fun game.

Absolutely killer of a game. High production quality all around. Fun story, stunning music, engaging gameplay, beautiful art and writing. It's also like a ton of fun games in one!

Pros:
- potion making! mix and match ingredients to make all sorts of cool potions.
- shopkeeping! sell those potions and improve your store through a fun and easy-to-understand card game.
- customization! change all sorts of things about your shop to improve sales, looks, etc.
- relationships! lots of fun and interesting characters to interact with - and doing so nets you new cards to use in the shopkeeping portion of the game!
- adventuring! send your hero friends out into the wild and collect ingredients for you - they'll do better if you brew them good potions.
- and more!

Cons:
- The UI is very pretty, like the rest of the game. But, it's very clunky. Prepare to click on everything forever, with no keyboard shortcuts or ability to sort your ingredients, potions, or supplies.
- Loading times are a little on the sluggish side. For the style of the game, I think it could be better optimized.
- A few minor glitches here and there. Nothing game-breaking, but some stuff that broke my suspension of disbelief for a few moments (characters disappearing from the screen or showing up with the wrong nametag, etc).

But honestly, I can't possibly dislike this game. It oozes charm, and everybody is lovable. And it's just dang fun. I beat it in 24 hours total. Have fun, and thank you Voracious Games for your hard work!

It's Shovel Knight, if it was a rogue-like and the levels were VERTICAL! (And with more digging.)

Just wanted to drop by and say that this is one of the best games that I've played in a long time - hands down.

Thanks to the devs for the love you CLEARLY put into this game. I'm sorry that I slept on it for 3 years (I'm one of those people who confused Outer Wilds and Outer Worlds).

Brilliant design and fun gameplay, with an intriguing plot and series of discoveries that keeps you coming back for more each time.

The good:
- A colorful cast of queer characters of all sorts!
- An engaging, well-designed battle system!
- A lovely soundtrack by aivi & surasshu, of Steven Universe fame.
- Well-animated pixel art style visuals that fit into the overall feel of the game quite well.
- Emotions! And singing!

The not-so-good:
- There are some issues with pacing. Parts of the story feel a bit taped together, as if they were ideas that were came up separately and then shoehorned together later.
- The battles can drag on a little bit, making it feel repetitive at times, especially with some of the later boss battles, which can be quite long.
- I'm on the fence about the high level of emotionality in the game. I'm a sucker for queer content, absolutely, and this game has a TON of it. But, the writing leaves a little bit to be desired - Some of the crises feel a bit phoned in. It's not bad, it's just a little hammy. If you're into that, then this game is absolutely for you. It's certainly a game that wears its heart on its sleeve!

All in all, this was a worthwhile experience, and I definitely recommend this game, especially at its $20 price point. It made me feel warm and fuzzy inside.

Everything about this game will leave you with a sense of wonder and joy, something that often feels lacking in the world of today. It's charming and goofy and serious and wholesome and hopeful in all of the right ways!

I wouldn't call it perfect, but I definitely enjoyed it.
