Very, very fun stealth/action game, but you are going to finish everything currently available in about 2-3 hours, so take that into consideration.

it's fun, but the second half is radically different in it's tone of the environment and story; it's supposed to be apocalyptic, but then you're fighting foresty-goat people and flying snakes? The gameplay is the main draw here, but it's ultimately a one-and-done game; if you're expecting destiny-esque levels of replayability, this game has none. It's fun for what it is, but don't expect too much from it.

Played it for the PvE, found out that it's just a watered-down Destiny, and I find Destiny-esque games to be a slog. Not for me.

After essentially finishing the game at around 17 hours, I would say that it was a nice experience. However, it's not a rogue-like; the dungeons are quick 5-10 minute runs, and most of your time will be spent on taking care of your cult followers. Even then, it becomes hard to feel attached to your followers later on when they are essentially living keys to unlock the next dungeon areas to progress.

Near the last couple hours you have to grind followers to be able to fight the last boss, so that kind of soured the experience right at the end, but I would say that 15 of my 17 hours was enjoyable.

The biggest strength of the game is it's presentation and style, but combat and other parts of the game are rather shallow; I would recommend this if you just want to have some simple fun, but don't expect anything deep, either in the lore or gameplay.

a fun game, but once you get father into the temple, "elite" enemies spawn, which are just spongier enemies that aren't fun to fight against. Feels bad because the rhythm of fighting enemies is very fast paced and high-risk/high-reward with greed kills, but that rhythm is instantly broken once the elite enemies come in, and then it's just high-risk/little-reward. If you don't mind the sponge, then perhaps you'll have a good time with the game, as pretty much everything besides that issue is good.

I've beaten Amnesia, Penumbra, and the first two Dead Space games, and for some reason this game freaks me tf out, so badly that i've been stuck on the apartments level for years until now. wish me luck folks

EDIT: finally finished the game after a month; one of the most stressful horror games i've played in my life. totally recommend it lol
