Completed, 9/10

Pros:
-AMAZING music
-Near perfect English dub. Persona games are one of the few pieces of Japanese media that I actually choose to play in English, because the dubs are just that good.
-Most party members are well balanced. The only real "must have" party member is Yukiko, the others are fairly interchangeable.
-The graphics, despite clearly being outdated, were designed in a way that kept the technological limitations of the time in mind, and don't look bad, even today.
-They added a suspend save feature, which is very nice to avoid having to burn through exit dungeon items (Goho-Ms)
-Great story
-Great vegetables
-Nice references to P3
-New Golden content really helps the story
-Fully customizable difficulty settings
-Fun characters, P4G has my favorite Social Links in the series

Cons:
-Some odd choices in the combat system. Enemies will be "weak" to an element, but take very low damage to that element.
-One or two scenes that didn't age very well, and feel very uncomfortable to view.
-They didn't add fusion from the Compendium
-The protagonist's ultimate Persona (NG+ exclusive) can't be registered to the compendium.
-Equipment, levels, and consumables don't carry into NG+.

Persona 4 Golden is definitely my favorite Persona game in the series, and at $20 (closer to $10 on sale) and with easily 70+ hours of enjoyable gameplay, there isn't really a reason not to try it.
