Game is generally fun, but currently has a bug where it drops inputs. I cannot recommend a game where basic functionality like shooting in a fast paced fps sometimes just doesn't work.

Game has a fun core gameplay loop, but launched missing so much content, and still does not have all the modes we use to get day one. It also has weird performance issues, where vrr and similar causes additional stutter (it's the only game i've seen this with), such issues have been there since launch and still have not been fixed.

This is a good example of what a live service should not be. A live service should launch with all expected content, and then add even more. This launched with a partial skeleton of a game, then slowly has adding game modes etc, that should have been there day one.

Halo is in a bad state, 343i where given a huge amount of time to develop this game and still launched it with barely any content and then clearly are unable to release meaningful updates in a timely fashion.

Poor performance ruins what seems to be an otherwise enjoyable game.
- General low performance.
- Shader compilation stutter.
- Uneven frame pacing (this you can "fix" by capping the fps to 30 with a third party tool).

Check back in a few months and check multiple sources to see if these issues have been fixed. If it hasn't the game simply isn't worth and asking price.

Terrible performance, devs seem uninterested in fixing this.

Game is an utter trash fire.

The Good:
+ I have nothing positive to say about the execution. Maybe on a very high level some of the ideas here could be done well. But it is not done well here.
+ It's name apparently means big ♥♥♥♥ in Swedish which gave me a chuckle.

The Bad:
- The game has major control issues. My xbox controller by default wasn't detected this isn't great but not a deal breaker,
- But once my controller was detected and working the game seems to drop inputs or outright refuse any input as you stand there with full stamina unable to move as enemies get free hits on you.
- The controls even when they are working do not feel at all good. From things as simple as camera panning felling stiff, to your attacks felling stiff and feedback from enemies attacking you being non existent, it feels bad to interact with the game.
- Boss design is lacking (want to fight a big version of the same enemies you've already been fighting?) and will make you target small enemies at the same time. This could work but the camera doesn't allow for this to work well. You will be attacked from the boss with attacks you cannot see coming as the camera and small fov get in the way.
- Speaking of enemies, the design from what I've seen is very generic which goes for the world also. It very much so comes across as an asset flip. Which I don't believe it is, but the assets don't feel designed with a single vision in mind. Rather they feel like a bunch of assets taking at random from all over.

This is perhaps the worst souls-like I have tried and it is embarrassing that a group of people came together and had such flawed and horrid felling mechanics that they tried to build a game around. They really needed to get the basics down and make sure it felt good to control before building everything else. I really struggle to understand what they where thinking.

Game has a load of stutter which needs fixing. Otherwise looks promising, consider looking at this game in a few months when it has had some patches fixing this and some of the other jank present.

Absolute trash. If you want a good Gears of War experience on pc, go get Gears of War 4 (sadly not available on steam) or play the OG Gears of War pc release.

The Positives:
+ Gore effects are quite nice.
+ Weapons are all very standard but work well, with one exception (see below).
+ Game includes a story mode, which especially at release was quite the rarity.
+ It is fun seeing some of the killing floor enemies in vr as a fan of the series.

The Negatives:
- The sniper rifle is horrid to use, once scoped you only use your left hand to aim (and you can drop your right hand down by your side). This doesn't feel completely horrid, but it also doesn't feel at all good.
- There is a lack of variety in weapons, especially as once you get the shotgun and assault rifle (which you more or less get at the same time) there is little reason to use the pistols again.
- When you try and holster weapons, when you look down to try and put a pistol away for example expect to see your holsters spin around you. This was a nightmare to deal with, so expecting to quickly holster your pistol then throw a grenade. Well you can rely on what your trying to grab just rotating immediately to the other side of your body and back again. This is a constant annoyance.
- Weapons are reloaded by pressing a button and watching an animation play out. This is sadly somewhat of a blessing in disguise given the issues holstering weapons etc, but it remains a negative as if the game functioned as intended, manually reloaded yourself would be by far the more enjoyable experience.
- The game is barely over two hours long, which if it was a great two hours would be less of an issue, but there is an extremely large amount of padding.
- You constantly get locked in to area after area, where you have to fight of several waves of enemies, this isn't inherently an issue if there are power ups and/or a a unique blend of enemies to fight with interesting weapons, but the weapons and enemy variety leave a lot to be desired.
- This above issue is compounded by the lack of any meaningful difficulty and I didn't die once playing through the game.
- Enemies show a lack of any intelligence, which makes sense given the enemy types. But nothing is done to spice up the gameplay. They just slowly walk at you, which given you can simply teleport away easily at any time, makes the game as mentioned above not only easy, but rather boring to play.
- The story itself is terrible. Expected and not the end of the world, but it even lacked the b-movie charm of the other games.

Don't buy this game even on a deep discount. It was a subpar vr game when it first released with dated mechanics which has only become more apparent over time. There is also a complete lack of content, and overly simplistic and combat that is uninteresting to play. Avoid.

Capcom going out of there way to prove that they never changed, and they continue to be a horrible company.

Such a shame.
