Wow...as of the 1.3 patch the game is amazing! There is so much more to do and so many improvements and fixes. It is finally becoming the game we were hyped for, and as they continue releasing free updates I'm sure it's only going to get better. So put the grudge behind you and give it another try!

To be clear, like many I was pretty upset after release but I don't think the situation was nearly as simple as the developers being evil, lying, cash-grabbing monsters or that they're beyond forgiveness. You can tell they love this game and poured their hearts into it, and they are making good on their promises as time goes on, so it's obvious that something happened before release that they didn't intend or couldn't control. I'm not saying they're blameless but they had to be influenced by the pressures of publishers and other outside forces.
