You can't alt-tab without the game becoming unresponsive. The load times completely take you out of the experience. The port didn't take into account dual monitors, so my mouse travels to my second monitor while in fullscreen mode and if the mouse is on the other screen clicks wont register. So i have to somehow do a reverse 360 so I can face an npc to click and speak to them. If you like Final Fantasy and enjoy their characters and stories, just watch somebody else play this. If you still think that you want to try this, be prepared to delve into some of the community's work-arounds to get the game to a functioning state. God speed.

Its nice when you go to a planet and walk for a really long time and scan and discover stuff. You get rewarded for that type of play too.

This game wears the freshest clothes, eats at the chillest restaurants, but doesn't hang out with the hottest dudes because it lacks a core element of attraction that doesn't seem to bring together the fantastic setting, refined mechanics, and crisp graphics.

The story is passively told, and what is there is good but at the end all I think is "neat". It's not that an investing story is necessary for a pixel bullet-hell, but it seems like the game is trying to attempt one so I become confused. Its really cool, but its like someone showing you a funny YouTube video that you think is cool but you don't really want to watch all 4 minutes in front of them.

Story aside, this game is fun. The bosses require a bit of patience which feels really rewarding when you finally beat them. There is upgrades to refine your own personal playstyle, and give a sense of progression. The world is pretty neat to roam around in. It reminds me of Link To The Past.

I would recommend this game regardless, and I am positive that somebody out there will feel that "attraction" that I didn't. I like graphics, settings and artstyle so much that I wish I wanted to spend more time here playing, but I don't. I'm content with just 7-8 hours in this games.

Some people like "clicking" games, I like this game.

I was pretty skeptical considering the high rating this game has (98%). I was really worried about the rating being cushioned by the "anime effect" that many other visual novel-esque titles have despite being really niche material. And it is true that it does benefit, but this game is fun without all the fanservice and references. Those things are fluffy little extras to a well balanced grind-fest RPG.

The grinding isn't obviously pointless (its still a game), and there are active elements of the game that evolve and change as a reward for your grind. It is simple and pleasant.

The references this game has are mostly sigh inducing eye-rollers, but they contribute to a really cheery atmosphere as they are ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ everywhere.

The cutscenes will make you laugh sometimes, but other times you will be thankful there is a skip function.

In a vacuum the story is pretty much exactly like every other generic JRPG, which in itself is just another reference.

The characters are two-dimensional in every sense of the word.

Some little things get on my nerves like reused assets; e.g., higher level monsters will have the same model as their weaker counter part with a different name(child wolf, wolf, etc), dungeons look the same with only slight path changes or extras, and some of the outfits and customizeables are just recolors.

I recommend buying this when it is on sale 100%. If you are a sucker for anime tropes and cutesy fanservice you might be interested in paying full price.

It's hard to play 100 hrs and then stop playing, and then you come back and your like what was I doing for 100 hours. And then you play another 100 hrs right there.
