Excellent game! Enjoyed it just about as much as Borderlands 2. The presequel was really bad, but this one really stood out to me as a worthwhile purchase. My only gripe is about the season passes. Should have been a single season pass for all the content, not two. I think they should not include cosmetics with the season pass , but of course include the other gameplay DLCs .

This game is amazing. I'm just really disappointed that they weren't able to recreate the magic of borderlands 2 in any of the sequels.

Great open world survival craft game. I've been having so much fun just surviving and exploring the game mechanics that I haven't even gone deep into the story part yet.

Not really what I was looking for. Not enough resources, injuries happen too quickly, poor user interface and leading to slow gameplay. Everytime I turn around I'm injured and have to hunt down another flower to heal myself. Can't even get a spare few seconds to build a base. Having to relight a fire or add more wood every 30 seconds is very annoying. I wish I could just make a few tweaks to the game and then play it my way.

This game has been reviewed enough so I don't think I need to sing its praises. However, there's a glitch since the new update creating these giant walls of "water" or something like that and the visuals start to look grainy or less clear. Easily fixed with a save and game restart, but it's still a glitch and probably needs a patch. Nothing out of the ordinary when there's a large update.

Not my cup of tea

Pros:

-Story was acceptably cheesy (It's exactly what I was expecting out of it and overall it's great!)
-Light perk system that adds a good feature, but isn't overcomplicated compared to the rest of the game
-Decent graphics

Cons:

-Game mechanics make the fighting extremely choppy (this is the main reason why i dislike the game)
1. Ammo pickups should be automatic
2. Weapon swapping became a chore due to poor UI. (weapons should not auto swap to a weapon with empty mag)
3. Can never get the two weapons i need to stay in my quickdraw
4. Weapons extremely inaccurate
5. The actual size of boxes/concrete etc... are larger than displayed making you miss lots of shots even though it looks like a clear sho. (really kills the immersion for me)
- Sneaking around undetected is difficult to enjoy when a soldier can die next to another one and they don't notice a thing. AI also doesn't investigate when they see a dead body or get a glimpse of you. (Again very immersion breaking)
-Not enough weapons

I've had a lot of fun learning this one! Brings back high school memories!

I would not recommend this game right now for a very simple reason.


Probably the most frustrating part of indie games is that the developers do not see the imortance of tutorial.
They will either 1 not make a tutorial at all or 2 make a really bad one that is boring and still leaves the player clueless.

What this game needs is a recommended section in your inventory to get you started on what to make. It's not that hard to figure out how to craft things, but they could at least give you some direction of which starting items you should be looking for or crafting.

Simple things need to be added such as how to store smelly animal products inside a jar i've found. It's not a simple click on one and drop it in the other. I have no idea how to do it.

In a nutshell the game pretty much slaps you out in the middle of nowhere and expects you to know what you're doing. The game should be difficult because it's a survival game not because you can't figure out what the hell you're doing.

Completely unplayable in its current state. I was jipped.

Very disappointing.
