+ Visually, it looks great and seemingly well optimzed even maxed out with swarms of Tyranids (RTX3080 TI, so ymmv).

+ Gameplay is fun, action is chaotic, probably the best representation of 40k combat in a game to date.

+ Decent variety of weapons/loadouts

+ Character customization and squad creation seems pretty sweet (although i haven't played with that too much yet)

- Squad AI in the single player campaign is completely useless except to help you up. They do almost no damage, and even if they are attacking something the enemies will ignore them entirely and only attack you, so on Veteran or Angel of Death its very easy to get encircled (and annihilated) or hit by every ranged enemy on the screen with no way to mitigate the damage (and annihilated).

- Life restoration on the single player campaign needs to be bumped up a good bit, especially for solo play. (i'm sure its fine with players instead of crappy ai squadmates.)

- Veteran and Angel of Death solo play (hard/hardest difficulty) are a complete waste of time until the squad AI is fixed; unless you don't mind dying a TON and restarting the same frustrating "defend the objective" parts repeatedly as your inept squadmates stand around doing nothing productive except waiting for you to get knocked down.

- Normal is a joke after playing veteran for the first couple levels. The difference in difficulty between normal and veteran is huge; although with useful AI squadmates or playing co-op, I think the higher difficulties will be fine.

- There are quicktime events that happen in the middle of fights, "Red" can only be dodged (no problem at all), blue gives a window to Parry / counterattack, but its very inconsistent and never seems to work right for any enemy except Hormagaunts (the weakest unit you can easily kill anyway).

Overall I'd still give it a solid 8/10, although I think it could be an 8.5-9 if/when the friendly AI is fixed.

Early Access Review
Amazing game. ruthlessly difficult but tons of customization and a vibrant mod community.

Challenging but rewarding, Good story, each weapon plays a little differently making for a significant amount of replayability without getting dull/repetitive, fantastic game and highly recommended.

One of the best F2P games there is. Stash space can be an issue (especially if you are a packrat), but there are regular sales for stash/currency tabs and around 30-45 bucks (What you would play for most AAA games on sale) is sufficent to keep you from running into space problems.

That being said, since the game is extremely fun, the developers are on point in updating, improving, and adding new content to the game, I have no problem contributing some money, just as I would if I was buying another game outright.

Fantastic reboot of the Tomb Raider franchise, controls and gameplay are excellent. Graphics are very demanding (Tress-FX especially is only for very high end cards), but even without Tress-FX the game looks fantastic. Easily my favorite game of 2013.

Excellent side scrolling platformer with gameplay similar to Super Metroid and Symphony of the Night. Hard difficulty is not really that difficult, save for a few bosses and Meio's tower at the end of the game, where the difficulty gets ramped up considerably and out of nowhere. Tracking down collectibles is somewhat painstaking. One of the achievements (Didn't miss a beat) is very late in the game and you only get one shot at it, which is kind of ridiculous.

Fantastic, addicting, and brutally difficult at times. With some patience (and liberal use of pause), finishing the final boss is a very rewarding experience.

Only part of the game that can get frustrating is the luck factor playing a huge part in how your trip goes... making it to the end isn't necessarily difficult, but making it to the end with a loadout that gives you a chance at beating the Flagship is heavily luck based regardless of how experienced you are.

Fantastic game, despite being somewhat short (around 10-15 hours); it is absolutely meant for multiple playthroughs as choices made in the game change the outcome of the story. Play through it once on High Chaos, then again stealthly for the "happy" ending.

Excellent game overall. My only gripe is the third person over the shoulder view sometimes obstructs things, would prefer to play it in first person. but didn't detract from the overall game, just a minor annoyance.
