I absolutely HATE the base building mechanics in the game. The snapping system is broken AF.
Other than that it's pretty damn good. Collecting ships, exploring different planets, getting into fights with sentinels, blowing your friend's ship up when they join your MP instance - great fun.

Absolute ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥

I had the game installed on my PC this entire time and have not deleted anything in regards to files or registry entries... game has an update and my save file is deleted.

♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ developers who care more for their pay to win micro-transactions than actually delivering a good product. This company is nothing but predatorial that looks to taking advantage of the younger player base.

It's a good game with great mechanics. Luckily the losers who used to camp outposts to steal your things are mostly gone from the game and most of the players are actually quite chill.
The big problem is that the PVE spawns in the ocean are busted AF. It's completely random and sometimes you'll have encounter after encounter when you're just trying to do some trading and chill sailing. They spawn completely randomly without there really being a system that dictates their spawn rate.

I would love to see something like:

Low PVE spawn rates that increase as you have increased PVE activity like:

"Anger" the skeletons by looting their treasure or killing skeles, increasing the skele ship spawns. The kraken and the meg could be higher end things as well that spawn in as you anger the AI more.

Just a thought. This could give players a lot of pace control in how they approach and play the game instead of spawn just being random.

The game is good. It's a fantastic mindless shooter to just play when you're bored of everything else. However, it is filled with hackers.

You'll get one game that's chill and enjoyable and then the next 5 you're facing off against a couple of hacker no-lifes. And when I say hackers I don't mean low-key wallhacking or radar hacking, I mean full blown aimlock, like, you'll jump to quickly peak over a wall and get your head blown off.

That said, the download size is small and the game is free-to-play, so if you want to check it out for yourself and have a few laughs at how ridiculous some of these cheaters are you can. But if you're looking for a game to actually enjoy for the gameplay, this is not it - the cheaters just ruin it for everyone.

Casual controller playing is absolutely terrible and when plugin in my wheel, even though the game picks up input from it and I'm able to set keybinds with input from the wheel, it just refuses to use it. Codemasters is absolutely killing the franchise
