LSD: Dream Emulator meets boomer FPS.

The game offers a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ insane plethora of weapon types AND weapon modifiers, giving new gameplay and discovery to every stage you play, this even further increases in NG+(s) to an extent with damage modifiers being introduced.

There is also an evolving and dynamic (through tweak-able in game settings) amount of movement options given to you throughout your play through(s) making even simple traversal a fun aspect of the gameplay.

The graphics and visual art style are where I see a lot of critique but I honestly think they look fine and are perfectly serviceable considering what the game achieves gameplay wise. With the default or turned up graphics settings it can be very chaotic at times with many particles and sprites on-screen making it hard to visually acquire enemies or even tell where you are, but simply tweaking and tinkering around with some of the settings I found greatly resolved this. My only real graphical related critique would be that the bloom is a bit much at times even on its lowest setting (sometimes appearing from the floor itself in the later stages of the game? may be a bug idk).

Performance is my only major gripe although I do understand why the FPS can chug, stutter or drop at times due to the sheer amount of stuff that can be going on in any individual frame, that being said I did more or less hold a perfectly playable FPS throughout my play through.
