I figure if i was ever going to review a game it would have to be this one, so this is my first review. Not telling people to buy and play this game is criminal if we're being honest here, ori somehow manages to do pretty much everything properly. The games movement and combat are incredibly smooth, you feel amazing after hitting those moments of tight platforming or when you pull off a really good combo on a boss or just dodge everything coming at you. The game rewards you for high skill but isn't super punishing to players who can't be on that level. Now what really captures me the most is the scenery and incredible ambiance. Every area has such a different feel to it and draws the mood out so well. The story is wonderful and is honestly a rollercoaster of emotion, a lot of sad moments but done in a way that it doesn't make you feel bad, it just makes your heart hurt and honestly the ending is what really put everything together for me, it was a very satisfying end to a great game. Overall the game has very minor issues and they're not prevalent at all, and on the other side the game has so many great features that I see it as a must play of this year. I'd give this game a 10/10 every time.
