Whatever you do, do not play online, jesus christ it's horrible. Delay upon delay which cannot be fixed.

Tbh if i could actually play it without some small issues like, fps drops, sound desyncing and disappearing, random crashes I bet it would be good.

Whatever you do, don't play Rivals if you end up buying this, all the sweats are in the lower divisions. Also the PC version is just full of stutter and lag, and they haven't done anything to fix it.

Not worth your time, dumb people everywhere that can't think straight.

As one of the people who bought the ultimate edition for 110 euro, I was very dissapointed in the game when it got released. Didn't play it for months because there was no new content, and the game overall was in a bad state. Season 1 has brought a lot of fixes and more content and the game honestly seems more stable and better now. I have a lot of fun and I have even started playing matches without my friends.

If you already own the game and haven't played it after Season 1, I would recommend giving it a new try with some fresh eyes.

Update:

Season 2 seems solid so far, I will still recommend the game since it's improving over time. Got some cool shots down on the new map stranded, and having fun trying different specialists now. Game plays out better and in a more Battlefield the players know, I honestly hope 2042 will still get support in the future, because right now it isn't looking too bad. But honestly buy it on sale, game prices are too scuffed these days.

Season 3 seems a bit better overall, the game is finally turning to a state where it is actually fun and worth your time to put in hours. Especially with the vault weapons being added, from different battlefield games, it gives a lot more options weapon wise, and therefore allows different style of gameplays, for each player - Still wouldn't buy it at full price though.

Season 4 pretty good so far. Game is for sure better better with the class system back in battlefield. It's for sure worth playing - But if you are looking for a battlefield 4 copy, this is not it, BF2042 is its own thing and that might be for the best.
