One of the best games I have ever played. The level of polish the developers have put into this game is exceptional. Learning curve can be a bit steep, but it is absolutely worth it. Hundreds, if not thousands, of hours of gameplay. Do yourself a favor and pick this one up

By far the best rogue lite I have ever played. Do yourself a favor and get this game!

-Lots of workshop content

-Steep learning curve
-The introduction of the blueprint system kind of killed my interest in the game. They're still extremely overpriced and I personally preferred the trading system much more before the switch to blueprints. To me, it seems like a cash grab by the developers.


Trading aside, the gameplay is fantastic. Easily one of the most fun games I have ever played. Not sure that I will be putting hours into it like I used to anytime soon though with the current state of the game's economy.

-Lots of unlocks and trophies/achievements to work through

-Multiplayer connection can be iffy
-Charging monkey money to upgrade the skill tree was a bad addition to the game

For $0.99, this is a fantastic game

Thoughts after my first playthrough:

-Very detailed environments and characters
-Redux graphics are solid
-Very atmospheric
-Picks up well from where Metro 2033 leaves off
-Challenging enough, but not impossible

-Enemy AI is a bit lackluster at times in combat
-Found myself constantly running out of air filters occasionally

If you were a fan of Metro 2033, this is a no brainer. Same awesome gameplay and atmosphere.

-Great single player campaign
-Very in depth customization
-Great replay value
-You can drive really fast

-Takes forever to load sometimes
-Plenty of hackers online

If you enjoyed GTA IV, you'll enjoy this. Solid singleplayer, but online experience is hit or miss.

My favorite ARPG to date.

-User friendly gameplay
-Tons of Mods available
-Very high replay value


-Might be a bit too easy at times


If you are a fan of isometric ARPG's, Torchlight 2 is a must have. A lot of the reviews complain about "boring" or "grindy" aspects of the game, but that is a staple of the genre which is present in many titles. This game is solid and great to play with friends.

My thoughts thus far:

Pros:
-Beautiful graphics
-Challenging enemies
-Plenty of areas to explore - the environment has depth
-Multiplayer makes the game far more enjoyable

Cons:
-End game boss is rather glitchy
-Some tasks are a bit repetitive
-Sinkhole portion of the map is incredibly annoying to climb out of if you fall in

Overall: I would definitely recommend this to anyone who enjoys survival games, especially if you have friends to play it with.

Thoughts after my first playthrough:

Pros:

-Plot did not seem extraneous to the gameplay
-Combat feels nice while also being plenty challenging
-Very atmospheric

Cons:
-Enemy AI is a bit lackluster at times in combat
-Found myself constantly running out of air filters towards the end of the game when playing on a harder difficulty

Overall: Not much to complain about with this one. I would highly recommend this game to any FPS/Horror fans.

To be honest, when I first saw Garry's Mod, I was very skeptical. 60 hours of gameplay later, my mind has been changed. Garry's mod is a sandbox masterpiece. The vast selection of addons available keep the game fresh and entertaining. The multiplayer greatly enhances the experience and makes the game more interesting as a whole. Overall, I am very impressed with Garry's Mod.
