Been hosting my own server for the boys, its been nice. Using the Ark Server Manager GUI had made hosting so easy (3rd party app asadedicatedmanager.eu/).

The first few months were riddled with crashes, disabling foliage interaction seemed to eliminate 90% of my crashing on my intel I7 13700k x RTX 3090 combo. I haven't crashed in the last 40 hours of game play so that's something.

This will be well worth the money once they add more maps.

Its now worth the 20 bucks (sale price right now)

New units are fun. All I can hear is Auntie Ethel when the hag talks lol

Dont bother playing unless you buy into both the premium subscription and the premium vehicles. All of which cost IRL dollars. Without both of those things you'll reach a point where you can't progress the game.

Game get update. Life good.

I like dinosaurs

I'll start off by saying that I've played this game all the way through on PS4 about 9 months ago and I did enjoy my time with it. Even then the game had come quite some way from the start and the issues I experienced during the play session were pretty minimal.
Today, I'm coming to find that everything feels improved. I very much so enjoy looking for the right planet to occupy and build a hidden base. This time around I managed to spawn on a planet with Gravatino Balls, after collecting about 150 or so I was able to trade my ship with an alien for one with efficient landing gear and a 22 unit cargo bay. Its funny how exciting the little things can be.

In short, this game is great if you you're looking for a casual space sandbox game. It's an amazing way to spend your time when you've got nothing to do. The experience is even better with friends. If you see the game go on sale don't pass it up. After playing on PS4 and PC I can say that PC is my preferred way to play but you might find that the $15 price tag at Lame Stop for the PS4 copy and $30 for the XBone to be a better deal.
Don't skip this game if it goes on sale!

The microtransactions are completely optional!!!! Dont listen to these butthurt fangays that write a review for every product they own. The steam reviewing community is becoming increaseingly toxic, making it hard to sort through steams piles of games to find something worth playing.

Overall the game is great! Controls are fresh and new when compaired to similar games
If you enjoyed mount and blade warband multiplayer then this is the game for you
