highest level of polish I've seen from a find the cats game closely rivaled by "where dragon spirits". new standard. cats' lores are so funny.

holy ♥♥♥♥ this game is so ass

the gameplay loop is nonexistent. and it almost always does not work. supply trucks can get bugged stuck, chain and sidearm takedowns don't trigger, there was not even a single point in the game where a death from below was plausible, you unlock skills by spending perk points which you have to do STUPID CHALLENGES to unlock, which means you have to constantly do stupid arbitrary ♥♥♥♥ like killing 15 enemies with a molotov cocktail!!

the story is divided into three regions which you can liberate in ANY ORDER, which is NOT the way to do in a far cry game because there is no sense of progression or rising stakes, no build-up of any kind, especially not when the final joseph fight is just a stupid anime fight that says "oh the power of friendship and comrades you made along the way" ♥♥♥♥♥ I DON'T KNOW ANY OF THE CHARACTERS. THERE IS NO REASON TO CARE ABOUT THE CHARACTERS WHEN THE DIALOGS ARE SO SHALLOW, AND ALL SO BIBLE-Y AND "DEEP" AND DRUG-INFUSED!

because there is no set order to play the regions in, ALL of the regions need to work as your first region, which means the outposts (WHICH ARE ALMOST NON EXISTENT, JUST LIKE THE TRADITIONAL TREASURE CHESTS FROM PREVIOUS FAR CRYS, EVEN IF THEY ARE THERE, THEY JUST DON'T FEEL IMPORTANT AT ALL, BOTH THE TREASURE CHESTS AND THE OUTPOSTS) don't get gradually more complex and engaging, whatsoever.

weapon unlocks simply DON'T WORK in co-op, which means if you play co-op with a friend, only the host unlocks the weapons and you have to go to your single-player world and progress in there as well in order to unlock weapons!!!

THE PLANES ARE SLOWER THAN A ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ CARRRRRRRRRRRRRR ON A STRAIGHT LINEEEEEEEEE!

ALSO THE CLUTCH NIXON MISSIONS ARE A PAIN IN CO-OP BECAUSE THE GAME SPAWNS THE PLAYERS TOO TIGHTLY AND ONLY ONE PERSON NEEDS TO TAKE THE CHECKPOINTS WHICH MEANS THE 2ND PLAYER DOES NOT EVEN NEED TO PARTICIPATE!

You also cannot get farther than about 200 meters from your co-op partner which means exploration is limited as ♥♥♥♥ and you are always bound by a leash to your friend which is simply suffocating when the world is soooo large.

OH THE WORLD IS SOOOO LARGE, BUT SO EMPTY, AND THE VEHICLES ARE SO SLOOOWWWWWWWWW
