Go in blind, this game heavily rewards your curiosity, look up guides on how to find all the secrets after you beat the game, AND OPEN THE MOUNTAIN DOOR ON YOUR OWN (it's surprisingly simple)

If you've seen the anime then just watch the alternate routes on youtube, the extra detail offered through this game is great but unless you're committed to playing all of the games then there's no need to play through it all

Long load times but other than that it's a very enjoyable online experience. Can't really say anything about the singleplayer because I have never played it.
