The first game was good, this game is already great! Dropping into a hotzone with 3 buddies as the music swells stays with me long after I'm finished playing for the night.

Enjoyed the first few levels before throwing in the towel at level 5 or 6. Game gets difficult quite quickly, and I may have hung myself with my trap choices. I'll have to give it another try soon.

Menacing environment and brutal combat bring to life this plodding trek of discovery. The world is baroque and bloody, it feels quintessentially Warhammer. You take on the role of a Librarian of the Dark Angels chapter. You are a team leader, pushing your team on a deadly timeline to uncover a truth lost to time and the Space Hulk, a mangled twist of various starships and artificial debris found drifting through the vacuum of space. The game offers impressive set pieces and unrelenting combat. The narrative can be a little tricky with sparse story punctuated with massive lore dumps, which is also characteristically very Warhammer.

Early Access Review
Frantic RTS meets zombie hordes in this merciless survival game. Survival means finding the balance between base expansion, turtling, resources gathering, and hunting down zombies with your troops.

Warframe is a refreshing blend of FPS, RPG-like progression, and mmo interactivity. My average Warframe session plays as follows:

The game opens up to an overlay of the Solar system. The options from here are fairly analogous to that of diablo III. From here you have access to your equipment, inventory, crafting, market with both ingame and out of game currency items, clan, chat, and friends list.

Unique to Warframe is the Solar Map. It features high interactivity, allowing you to drill down two levels of detail. Selecting a planet/planetoid allows you to see all available mission in that system. Upon hovering on a mission, the map shows the mission type, faction and level of difficulty presented in the mission. There are various ways to run missions, but the most commonly used is online. In this mode, you matchmake with other players wanting to run the same mission. Once matchmaking begins, you can either select "play now" to begin the mission after a short countdown or simply wait for at least one other person to join before the countdown begins automatically.

If you are running though a mission and it's not yet full(4 players max) and the objective is still incomplete, players will be able to drop in mid-mission. The more players working together, the higher the experience and reward payout.

Progression in Warfame is accomplished through a couple different systems. Your account has a rank, it begins at 1 and slowly builds up as you play through the game. Progressing to the next rank requires completing a trial, accessed by clicking on the xp bar on the main menu once it's full and flashing. Certain weapons require a certain account rank or "mastery rank". Your warframe, weapons, and carrier has a level, these cap at 30. As these are raised, your health, shields, stamina, engery, and damage increase. Each level provides the respective equipment an additional amount of capacity for mods. Each new weapon and new warframe that you level helps build your mastery, and is proven to be the quickest way to progress.

Each mod drains capacity but gives an upgrade. These are both increased my fusing the mod to higher levels. This offers near limitless upgradeability to your frame and weapons of choice. As you progress though the game's content, you will collect more mods along the way allowing you to further customize your build to your needs. Chasing difficult to find mods and upgrading them to their full potential is a challenge in and of itself.

Just don't do it. It's one of the worst knock-offs of the decade. Clunky, unrewarding.

Arma 3 is the current pinnacle of tactical military sims. The multiplayer is home to diverse community driven missions, mods, and addons--the scope of which is ever expanding. The single player campaign, though clunky at times with trigger based scripted events and obtuse progression, is engaging and immersive.
The maps are incredible.
Stratis is a fantastically detailed, compact island only ~20 sq km. It features rugged terrain, a city, small villages, an airbase, and FOBs of various size.
Altis offers a massive experience at ~270 sq km. It's a fantastically beautiful Mediterranean environment with cities, towns, highways, military complexes, airports, airstrips, fobs, resorts, energy stations, ruins, castles, islands... critically one of the best environments in gaming.

Fantastic and Horribly Challenging
FTL is easy to play but very difficult to succeed in. Due to the difficulty, just beating the game on easy is a considerably rewarding gaming experience. I highly recommend it!
