bit of a mess

First of all, a pc game has no good reason to be controller only, but that was not an issue for me personally. What causes me to truly not be able to recommend this game is the common pitfall of rhythm games today- a lack of music, especially when it comes to recognizable music. There was exactly one song in this game that I knew, and it wasn't one I was particularly fond of. The other 14 songs were very generic electronic songs which each followed a very similar pattern. I don't leave this critique to say that more big name songs should have been gotten- licenses are expensive and I understand that- but when getting songs there had to be other options that would have given some more variety to this soundtrack. Another issue that early on worried me about this game was how much of the game is locked behind dlc. Putting ship skins behind a pay wall is fine- the game is only $15, so it would make sense to give more options to give to the makers of the game, but going after big song titles just so you could make more song packs just makes the base game seem boring and short. Overall, it is a fine game if you are really itching for a rhythm game, but this game doesn't stand out to me as a particularly unique take on the rhythm genre.

This game shaped my life. I feel like this is the dark souls of first person shooters. Please

A lot of fun and really ahead of the compitition at this time. A thing that would really add some gameplay value to this game would be like a campaign or challenge system, but for being on such a new thing is really cool.
