AoE 2 is just the classic and I think nothing comes close to it. But this is really fluid to play and the different fractions you can play actually feel different to play and have their unique buildings and units apart from the basic units every fraction has.

I personally dislike the inability to deploy mods, the pop cap at 200 / 250 is way too less for really epic battles as in AoE there was up to 500 popcap.

the graphics are adorable.

I put some hours in this game already, and I think I will continue to open it every now and then.
I tried multiplayer too as I never did in AoE2. Will update once I played more Multiplayer.

Absolute joke. After not even 10 minutes my throttle R2 does not work anymore on PS4 controller.
I searched for solutions, using DS4 Windows, looked up Reddit, no solution to this fix. I want a refund. Clasical EA. Also with Battlefield 2042 it does not work with PS4 Controllers.

Diablo 3 was way more fun, no combo streak, items and loot is lame, no armor sets. Leveling feels boring. After 30 hours, I kind of seen it already.

The game crashes and I can't use the character for a whole day because it says character busy.

The game crashes like 20times per 6 hour game session. I have no words for this. I use NVDIA for optimal settings and I have a high end PC, can't blame it on my setup even if I wanted too.
How is this possible from a multi-billion dollar company?

COH1 und COH2 sind um Welten fesselnder!
Die Karten hier fühlen sich alle gleich an, ohne Charme.
Die Karten bei COH2 insbesondere die Modkarten fühlten sich viel besser an.

Am Balancing muss unbedingt gearbeitet werden, die Achsenmächte sind viel zu stark!
Es sollte viel mehr Fraktionen geben.
Es fehlt das gewisse etwas bei diesem Spiel. Manchmal fühlt es sich ziemlich liebelos an, als ob es irgendwie nicht ganz fertig ist.

COH3 ist mehr "Cartoon" mässig. Es ist aber alles viel direkter und flüssiger.
Der Preis für das Spiel ist zu teuer. Ich bereue so viel bezahlt zu haben.

COH2 ist noch immer um Welten fesselnder und mein Go-To Spiel bleibt COH2 auch wenn COH3 manchmal noch gestartet wird, ist COH2 einfach viel viel besser!

I have been loving the series ever since. Best Game in this Genre together with Age of Empires. This game is way more tactical than AoE and I love the mods that allows for a customizable game.

I really tried to like this game but it gets so boring after a while. The assignment of councellors who perform actions on earth and space is frustrating, as you proceed in like 0.001% steps to finally feel your work in the country you control.
The research tree is disgusting, it feels like it never ends, nor do you really understand how things link together, as there are like 1000000000 things to explore.
Building the Space fleet takes ages and most likely aliens will destroy your stuff on the way. If you don't control a G9 country at the start, do not even try to continue.

I love the game one of the best if not the best battle royale ever. I played for at least 1000hrs also on PS4.

the SC 1 is way more fun

One of the best games I have ever played. No boundaries are set to for your creativity.
Spaghetti and perfectionist alike will find enjoyment in this game.
Props to the devs.
I am really looking forward to find more than 5 Phases and continuous addition of new content.
Please evolve the game even more devs!
