yeah I've got no idea, that map's always been super crashy because of that spawn.
i had some people much smarter than me deduct that it was because of a glitched displacement, we took that out and I've not had any problems with it since, but if you're getting problems in that area again someone may just need to replicate the map from the ground-up because it may just be boned.

i'm pretty detached from actual modding these days but if you can fix it or know someone who can i'd go for it, it's def a fun map worth keeping functional, but it seems to just be really broken.

I seem to be getting an issue in de_abstractplane where entering the CT spawn (the one on the floating island) completely freezes the game and also causes it to take priority over every single other Windows process, preventing me from doing anything else unless I have the Task Manager already set to "Always on top". It seems it doesn't always happen, though? I'll have to narrow down the potential causes somehow.

This is bad since the game seems to prioritize spawning the player at CT spawns specifically (something I noticed on nippers_opus, where I frequently spawn in the white room on starting the map)
