The world is ruined, corrupt, in turmoil. Greed has overtaken every person, endlessly fighting eachother for fame, money, respect. Earth, as we know it, is about to end, and it's all because of- wait is that ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ mc ride from death grips

a mesmerizing and surreal point-and-click game consisting of 5 (in some way) interlinked episodes . choose your critter and explore the confusing world around you, and if you're lucky enough, you can join in on the destruction of the world ! (as a,,, popular hip-hop star ??)
first thing that pops out is the visual style, following a monochrome aesthetic of only white, grey and black, yet it still feels lively with effects like dithering, distortion and various background patterns . most of the assets come from IRL, being edited to fit the more surreal style . because of this i feel like it's more unique than other monochrome-likes, as it utilizes the colors to the extreme in order to unnerve the player .
the game's not "all style" though, as the actual episodes are just as weird as the visuals . all stories are filled with absurd writing, ranging from unexpected and crude humor to psychological and body horror . each episode takes place in a unique place and expands on them with its folklore-inspired storytelling, and afterwards continues the ongoing plot of the entire game, no matter from what episode you started . the length of an episode varies, since some have mulitple endings and some have only one .
as for the point-and-click aspect, it's pretty straightforward with its controls and puzzles . while there is no inventory, you'll only be carrying one item max so it's not hard to forget what you currently have . the key to getting endings is talking to everyone and clicking on anything interactable, keeping things in mind for later playthroughs . while some endings take pretty long to get to because they're at the end of the chapter where it spreads off into 2 endings, there's a fast forward option so you don't have to wait as long . one major thing to note though: don't try to 100% the episodes immediately, as some puzzles require info from other chapters; if you can't do an ending, start playing something else . i made that mistake and got spoiled for a good chunk of the game lmfao
the music from the start gives a clear indication of what you're going into . mostly consisting of atmospheric dance club music, ambient landscapes and some harsh noise tracks for the more tense stuff . it fits very nicely and i found myself relistening to some tracks in my spare time .
if you like surrealism, this is a great one to pick up and i really really enjoyed my time with it !! meow

look straight into my eyes and tell me you wouldn't be in a relationship with any of the characters (unless you're aro . in which case you'd at least be friends with one of them cmon)
extremely cute and at times touching VN that nails simplicity to a T . explore purrgatory (nothing related to cats, trust) and meet wacky creatures that will make your heart melt (be it emotionally or physically) ! starts off slow but once you get into it you start wanting to click on everything and talk to everyone .
its very "discord group chat messages"-core with its simple lowercase writing and humorous tone and at times referencing internet culture (which for chronically online people [like me] is a huge plus considering all of the jokes, but an average person can get some laughs out of it too !) .
the game doesn't forget about its "darker" topics though and adjusts accordingly, while still keeping it sad, yet optimistic .
all characters are extremely memorable with their personalties and appearances . each one is vastly different from one another so there's lots of chemistry between them, which the game manages to explore entirely . any player will have at least SOMEONE to relate to in one way or another, making the game feel personal yet available to anyone .
the art compliments the writing and characters with its scribbled aesthetic, makes the game feel more comforting and inviting . the music also fits into the theme, filling in the white silence of purrgatory with various tiny tunes to accomodate you
go play . now . game's rlly good . meow !

Nice RPG with an interesting story. Some might compare the game to Candy Box 1/2, which you can definitely see by the ASCII-art visuals. But it's definitely not just an idle game - more of an auto-RPG. There's so many ways you can farm materials: what location, what weapons, what buffs, at what point: all of this can be automated. Overall, very nice game.

SPACE / MECH / PILOT is a great idle game, and is pretty much missed out by people and doesn't get the popularity it should. S/M/P is the equivalent of "If OneShot Was A Clicker Game", it plays with your feelings, it has lore (some) and there's a cute fluffy cat with the name Kato.
The game is a 1-2 day experience, and even though most of it is grinding, it has good gameplay and dialogue. I don't know what else to write here except that it has a sad ending that will be in your brain forever.
Overall, good game, fluff cat, 9/10 would probably replay 10 times.
