Dreadful launch at the beginning. It made me and my friend very disappointed because of the content. Nevertheless, the wonderful devs advance to enhance the game without minding the harsh criticisms. And as it is now, in 2019 No Man's Sky made its greatest redemption yet. Although the mechanics for forthcoming remain identical I still attain a motive to play after work. I wish they implant the multiplayer better so my friends can join. I don't want to suggest the game if you are looking for a great and realistic game. However, if you are looking for a light-hearted game and enjoy flying around the galaxies, among the system to do the quests/missions then this might be the game for you. Catch it on the sale if possible.

This is a short review btw

Pretty fun game out there. It makes my desire to play new game rises up one again after 4 months of not playing anything else outside Dota 2 or R6S. I kinda like the atmosphere it creates for players. It's not perfect to it is fun, exciting (sometime) and could make your heart skips a beat (just like when you see your crush smiles) when the hunter is near and you are doing something fishy behind him.

The game involve co-op style with 4 humans and 1 hunter. Which is kinda fun because you will be able to meet with either a helpful teammates or a toxic/trolling player. Most of the time, you might be able to have a nice and enjoyable time with your team. You might be able to become friend with them and play together with each other. However, you are match up with troll/toxic player, You might have a frustration experience. I only played for a few time so i don't have any opinion for the hunter side. Maybe in the future, i'll choose to play as a hunter and enjoy the joy of stalking people and stab/chop them with my stuffs. And then, i might be able to give out my opinion about the balance of the game.

The game play mechanic is decent, not thing too special or too hard for newbie like me. The sound is great. I used my old Apple earphones combine with DAC and some tweaking. I could hear every footstep near me clearly. The sound of the grass moving or the heart beating faster when there is a "stalker" walking up close to you. It feels kinda good for this kind of game. The graphic is great but need some improvement to makes it more creepy and darker so player can feel the terror from it. If this game has the surprise element, it might be a good game (at least for me since i'm bored and unmotivated atm).

I think either the game optimization need some tweak because when i alt tab out and then back in, the game keep lagging (not to be confused with low fps or high latency from network) and moving the frames up and down repeatedly. Alt tab again and it fixes itself. I play this game on an i9-9900K laptop equipped with 32Gb of 2666 ram, dual 2.5 inch 1tb SSDs + dual 500gb m2 pcie SSDs and a low-power GTX 1070 clocked at 2000Mhz for core and 4664Mhz for memory so i'm pretty sure there wouldn't be anything wrong from my end.

I only recommend this game if you have your buddies to play together or maybe you just want to try some game that will help you feel a bit more happy or motivated like i did. This review is based on my bias and my opinion so i expect there would be many disagreement but i stand with my point. Feel free to comment anything and yes, i only played this game for less than 1 hour because my time to play games is so short that you can say it is close to "non existence".
