If you loved the first superhot game and are craving more, I would absolutely recommend this game.
You can see it as a sort of expansion to the base game.

I would definitely start there though.

If you didn't like the first game, there isn't much to like here.

Solid game to play in short burst.
Might get a bit repetitive.

Honestly a good mission based, turn based squad strategy game.
It's like Xcom but perhaps a bit simplified and not as varied in gameplay, setting,...
But if you like Xcom and warhammer it sure hits the spot. Also the time to awakening of the tomb aspect is something I enjoy.

Nothing superspecial but a satisfying gameplay loop and good WH40K vibe.
The hardcore strategy fans might dislike the simplicity and lack of difficulty in the second half of the game.

It's a good puzzle game if you like programming and optimizing.

I love that you can make it as hard as you please.
I don't play games like these very often but still manage to solve the puzzles (albeit not in a very efficient way)
BUT if you like to make it harder you can start optimizing for different factors (area, cost, cycles,..) which will need different approaches.

If you have played other games form this creator and disliked them this also wont be for you
BUT if you liked them or this all sounds like something you can enjoy -> I would surely recommend this game

Nice game to pick up and play for short sessions while very addictive at the same time.

At first I thought that the fact there were only 4 heroes combined with the rather short time to complete a playthrough would lead to a rapid increase of boredom but thus far it seems I was very wrong about that.
There are loads of different cards with different synergies and weaknesses. This, with the random nature of receiving cards, leads to a lot of on-the-fly deckbuilding and improvising which keeps it fresh.
Last but not least you can unlock increasingly difficult ascension modes and play daily challenges!

in short: it's a great game with a lot of depth while not being overly hardcore or complex to grasp.

PS: all this comes from someone with barely any experience in deck building games. Nor do I really like this genre in general. => so it must be good then :)

I need to say upfront that I am playing this game in 2019-2020 so the game is pretty old.
Also I have no nostalgic sentiment towards this game as I never played this when it launched or any of the other game in the series.
Despite all that I really enjoy this game!
It has a very nice atmosphere and a good sense of humour.
It contains a bit of satire for the whole fantasy genre and quirky characters.
Overall it's all very charming and I think the shortcomings (not the tightest controls, some glitches here and there) are overshadowed by it's virtues as a classic fantasy action game with a twist!

Really enjoyable little game! Very satisfying combat and addictive gameplay loop.

10/10 would cliff dive on top of a bunch of vikings again!

Best game ever, period.
