It's not a waste of your time if you play it. You're not missing anything if you don't.

One of the finest point & click adventure games to release in years. The story revolves around you trying to locate a secret artifact that will change the course of a great war in a fantasy kingdom. You get to play as 3 different characters - Nate, an Indiana Jones type pilot/adventurer, Ivo, a mysterious wood elf and Wilbur, a humble Gnome looking for an adventure.
The game will send you to various locations as you piece together puzzles to progress the story. The beautiful visuals are the highlight of the game. It also has some incredibly funny writing, it pays homage to great adventure games from the past and does not shy away from breaking the 4th wall to parody modern gaming and poke fun at itself. The puzzles are also very well thought out, and they never fall into the trap of needing to randomly combine items in illogical combinations.
There is one technical issue though. The game is built for 16:10 displays and 16:9 users will have to put up with black bars on the screen.

This is GTA: Hong Kong with thematic elements of Infernal Affairs. A predictable story but surprisingly well told, and very fun gameplay that will keep you engaged all the way to the end. One of the better open world games of recent times.

A lovely doujin game, part strategy, part tycoon, part dungeon crawler. You play as Recette Lemongrass, a clueless young girl who is given 4 weeks to pay off a loan her father took and disappeared with. You take over his shop where you can buy and sell various items to earn money. You can buy and resell items from the marketplace, or from people or you can go and do dungeons to get items without having to pay for them. The idea of the game is to earn a profit while keeping your customers happy so that they will return for repeat business. The game gradually introduces gameplay mechanics until you realize that there is a fairly deep game hiding behind the cute exterior presentation.

Don't be put off by the Japanese style, the Anime look or the fact that it's made in Flash. This is the reason we play games... to discover new and wonderful experiences that can be had through this medium. I thought it was worth full price, but it's definitely worth getting in a sale.

An absolutely wonderful game, one of the best indies I've ever played. It's a charming old school adventure/puzzle solving game, beautiful artwork, lovely music and you can see it's made with love.
