I've played for a while now and adjusted the default settings and it runs just fine. The game is beautiful and did so well at combining all the challenging requests from the community. The developers are continuing to optimize the game and there should be no reason for bad reviews. I'm typically a critic of bad games, but this is now my favorite game.

I just... can't... wow... I've spent hours and hours on this game. I've always... well, used to be... a SimCity fan. I was loyal and bought SimCity 5 in 2013. But Cities: Skylines is what SimCity could not accomplish. In all my life, I've never come so close to building such a realistic city on a computer. Cities: Skylines has tiles you add to your original to expand your city limits, and it is HUGE. My God, it's taken me forever just to get one edge of my suburbs even close to the city limits (I've unlocked all 25 tiles with a mod). Once you've built out a giant city with endless suburbs, massive industrial zones and sophisticated mass transit networks (that you can now completely micromanage yourself), there will still be "countryside" left. You can zoom in to street level and see a panoramic view of the skyline off in the distance and the disappearing suburbs over the horizon.

BUY THE GAME!
