Do not play this game.

I'm sure that The Last of Us was great on Playstation. I wish I could have experienced it like that, but I'm not about to buy a PS3 just to play it. The story is great and I wish I could enjoy it. The experience on PC, however, is abysmal.

I could write a whole essay on the graphical bugs alone. Textures clipping, turning black, the scope being blocked so you can't use it, character's hair turning into weird squares, the list goes on and on. And these aren't one-off issues, they are constant. I was experiencing two or three visual bugs at a time throughout every play session.

Then there are the gameplay bugs. Characters will get stuck on objects, stuck on nothing, decide to not move objects that they are supposed to move, and more! Enemies will take cover behind absolutely nothing at all. Sometimes they track you through walls like Superman, and other times they roleplay as Hellen Keller, ignoring you as you take down their friends right in front of their faces.

Sometimes the game will crash during a shootout. Sometimes it crashes during exploration. Sometimes it crashes on startup. Very rarely, the game doesn't crash at all.

You can shoot your gun by clicking on menu options, which is an interesting design choice. As is the fact that Joel seems intent on pulling out the molotov at every opportunity. Craft an item? Molotov! Throw a brick? Molotov! Out of ammo? Molotov! He sure does love arson.

Also, the game runs like I'm trying to run Crysis on a PSP, but I'm trying to run a remake of a ten year old game on a modern mid-end system, ON LOW SETTINGS.

This is unacceptable. Do not play this game, do not let anyone you care about play this game. Shame on you, Naughty Dog.
