My key thoughts on this game:

- In my opinion, this game is great and surpasses all previous titles from Frictional Games in terms of horror, including Penumbra. While playing the previous titles isn't necessary, there are a handful of references.

- Unlike its predecessors, this game is less linear and narrative-driven. You'll need to piece together the story of what happened in the bunker through exploring the many environments.

- There's virtually no hand-holding in this game. The main goal is to escape the bunker, so you'll need to embrace being a bit creative and explore through trial and error, in a style reminiscent of Metroid or Hollow Knight.

- The game is quite challenging, even on the "Normal" difficulty. Supplies are scarce, and the constant need for fuel for the generator can induce genuine panic. In my playthrough, the monster was very aggressive, despite my caution. It seems that the experience varies among players, so I'm not sure if I somehow managed to anger the monster more than others. Regardless, expect to die—a lot. After the end credits, the game counted over 20 deaths for me.

- The game's length appears to vary from player to player. I'm not sure if I was unlucky again, but my first playthrough took around 7 hours, while some others completed it faster. With experience and familiarity with the bunker's layout, I can imagine that this game can be beaten very quickly.

- "Amnesia: The Bunker" provided an incredibly captivating experience that left me yearning for more. While the story feels more confined in comparison to "Rebirth" and "TDD", it still manages to leave a lasting impression.
