Games are meant to be enjoyed. If you don't like certain aspects of a game and want to modify it for your enjoyment, go ahead! If someone else isn't playing a game how YOU like to play it, who cares? So long as you're not ruining the experience of other players within the games you play, do whatever! Don't let other people crash your metaphorical (or literal) party!
