Stardew Valley was a game I had heard of a lot before getting it. At first I wasn't interested as I thought the game would get boring very quickly. It wasnt until one of my friends gifted me it that I really did give it a chance and safe to say it has changed my life. Stardew pulled me out of a deep depression and motivated me to actually take care of myself. I enjoyed feeling like I had a purpose in this little game world and enjoyed the progression. The game isn't perfect and my biggest take away is that the NPCs have little to no dialogue outside of their heart events. I don't want to hear Shane tell me hes thirsty every time it rains. It gets predictable after a while. I hope in CA new game he will address this issue and give it a whole new breath of life.
