People are lazy and can't be bothered to read the posts that explain that Greenlight is still ongoing. The fact that you made your own thread instead of posting in any of the previous threads asking if Greenlight is shutting down is somewhat proof of that, furthermore there has already been several posts in your thread where people without basis for it says stuff like "yes" or "I belive it is".
Most likely these people are jsut badgers trying to agree with the topic, but they are still spreading misinformation.
Please edit your OP and topic already. Greenlight is NOT shutting down.
What Gabe said 2 years ago was that he wanted Greenlight to CHANGE into something else. He never wanted it to shut down or come to an end.
We ahve already established that Greenlight is still going strong. Games are still being added, greenlit and released through Steam Public Greenlight. THere are no indications that it is stopping.
If and when it is shutting down Valve will make a VERY clear announcement and will stop selling Greenlight dev access in the store... or risk getting sued.
Would you mind changeing the topic and first post of your "Greenlight is comming to an end?" thread in Greenlight? People are still mistakenly beliveing it is ending.
