An entertaining game where you get to play the raid boss, complete with customizable talent trees and raid boss mechanics with boss phases.

It's a little bit on the short side, and is early access so expect some bugs, but it's been a fun experience. I've been able to beat the game using many different builds, so kudos to the designer for making so many different paths viable.

A fun coop third-person shooter that takes the Starship Troopers movie and raises it to the ridiculousness level of Broforce. Play with your friends - it's a blast with a group of four, and don't get upset about friendly fire. It's hilarious, and this was made by the people that brought you Magicka. It's essential to the experience.

And read all the flavor text, it's wonderful.

TALIA told me to recommend this game, so I have to.

It's an entertaining little game, with enough variety in the options you get to make games differ a bit. Sometimes your people will live in luxury with bidets and gourmet food, other times it's eating bugs and pooping in a bucket.

Life's rough as a test subject.

Fun game with a great premise. Playing Chase Mode as the "katana king" (5 blade, free move after the first blade kill each turn) was glorious.

Go forth and enact your rightful revenge, my king!

Early Access Review
It really is Peggle plus Slay the Spire, with a dash of cute goblins. Like the other reviews say, there's not a huge amount of content and it seems to be on the easy side; I finished it in about an hour, but it's fun and has a lot of potential. I didn't know I needed a Peggle RPG, but it seems we did.

The real friends are the bombs we blew up on the way.

Lots of potential here.

Everything went catastrophically wrong, and it was glorious. Still, we persevered, and continued on to victory!

And by victory I totally mean a terrible dystopian ending. It was great.

I'm looking forward to see how the game progresses during development, but it's a very solid start.

Survival game done right. They took out all the pain and left only fun behind.

For an early access game it's excellent. Hell, for a release game it'd be pretty excellent. I look forward to their updates.

Edit: You should play this game, and I'm saying this because I like badges and have to edit one of my reviews.

A decent MMO, with the absolute worst customer service and account policies.

FFXIV has an interesting story - it was so bad and initially flopped on release so hard that they took the servers down and literally ended the world in-game. It came back later as "a realm reborn", and it really was. It's impressive how much better the new version was than the original launch.

I played it off and on for several years, but after moving internationally was told that if I want to play in Europe I need to make a new account, buy everything again, and start over. Yes, in this day and age of global commerce, Square Enix can't change your country in their billing system.

Stay away from this game. It's decent, but it's clear that they don't care about their players and have no intention of changing.

Early Access Review
I played a ton of Atlas Reactor back in the day, and loved it. Atlas Rogues is a fun PvE experience that isn't Atlas Reactor, but it rhymes with it and brings back a lot of the old joy. The writing is entertaining and the missions are fun. It's also Early Access so it's incredibly buggy, but they've already done four hotfixes in the first week and I've been able to play the single player campaign all the way through. (I lost at the end. But that's okay! You shouldn't beat a roguelite on your first run!)

Co-op has been a bit more of a struggle due to the bugs, but I have confidence that they'll get them taken care of soon enough. I'm looking forward to seeing more freelancers added and more mission objectives than "kill everything".

All in all, I recommend it, but really, only if you have a super high tolerance for bugs. It's pretty Early in the Early Access. I think that this is going to be a great game when it's finally ready for full release.

Nov. 26 Edit: The fixes keep coming in, I'm pretty happy with the pace of development. I wish that it wasn't a centralized server architecture, but I can see how it made things easier to adapt the old Atlas Reactor code rather than starting from scratch. Still fun, looking forward to more updates and more features.

Yup, it's definitely Borderlands. Sticks to what I was looking for, and adds some systems on that are enjoyable to interact with.
