My disappointment is immeasurable, and my day is ruined.

Just to preface this FF7 Remake is one of my favorite games of all time. The story telling, character development, and pacing were perfectly executed.

It's hard for me to believe rebirth was made by the same team, every single aspect remake perfected was thrown out the window. I had planned on writing an in depth review for this game. I even took notes along the way, but the more I played the more apathetic I became, to the point where I'm on chapter 12 and I've stopped playing completely. I don't care how this game ends anymore, or the entire trilogy for that matter.

I was shocked to see that remake has the same writer as rebirth and can only conclude that he has been replaced by an alien doppleganger or he has received a massive head injury. I deeply regret playing this game, and feel stupid for sinking so much time into it.

Bad writing, bad dialogue, bad pacing, bad open world design that exists purely to pad out the game and waste your time, bad character development, bad filler content.

Won't be buying the third, won't be finishing the original (I've only played the midgar section).
