Excellent combat. Challenging and surprisingly not super punishing. They've managed to balance the difficulty with the reinforcement mechanic and reward structure to generally not feel bad even with friendly fire and fairly regular deaths. Things are rocky right now when it comes to actually getting into a mission but once that's dealt with this game is top in class.

Overall a lot of fun. It's got some early access jank you might expect but it's been manageable in my experience at least. The options for customizing the world are fairly comprehensive so if there are things you don't like you can generally just turn them off or use a slider to set them to a preferable level, like reducing stamina consumption for instance. Definitely worth the price tag even in its current state.

Solid 40k 4x game. I've been enjoying Tau.

A deep and satisfying 4x experience

Even after consuming mountains of Twitch content of the game I'm thoroughly enjoying playing through it myself. It looks and runs beautifully on my mid-range machine. Still lots to do as I'm barely out of the starting area at 6 hours played.

Overall I've enjoyed my time, but there are some frustrating aspects that keep it from being truly great. Soloing in the end game can be punishing and the world can feel empty sometimes. On the flip side, huge groups of players can run through elite zones in the open world. While this is rewarding the experience is chaos and not exactly fun from my perspective. PvP seemed fine. My rig isn't strong enough to enjoy it unfortunately.

This game and it's soundtrack have soothed my soul

A quality product well priced. Relatively simplified Factorio-like base building. Real-time action combat with a bunch of enemies weapons and gear options. Campaign and Survival modes offer different and customized experiences and difficulty. Fun!

It's pretty good

A beautiful and immersive survival experience. The combat is simple to grasp but it has a path to mastery. Enemies are unique and engaging to fight. The building is fine but it could use some QoL.
