As you can see by my hours played, I’m not all that far into the game. I think I stopped around level 8 or 9 in the first area. That’s mainly because I’m unsure if I want to keep playing and exceed the refund limit. I played the demo, however long ago it was when it first came around and there was lots of buzz surrounding the game, and I enjoyed it. I knew then that I was going to get it, fast forward to now - the buzz has died and so has my enjoyment. This game isn’t all that complicated or complex in its visual design, but yet it runs like a double amputee. My rig consists of a 4070 Ti/i7 13700k/32g DDR5 RAM etc yet it runs as if I’m playing on a public school computer. My biggest frustration however is in the “challenges” I get they’re supposed to be challenging, hence why they’re called challenges in the first place, but they feel uninspired. 90% of them thus far have been to complete a level using only your kick, which I get is in theme with the game, but it gets tiring, tedious and frustrating going through the same level 2 or 3 times just to complete it once while using kick only, to then have to do the same every level after. There have been a couple more unique ones, like kill x amount of enemies while drunk, or kill x amount without swapping guns etc. But for the most part it’s beat level/beat level with only kicks and then one other of the previously mentioned. Everything dies in one or two hits, including yourself, and when your game is running like a PowerPoint presentation and you’re forced to only kick people, it gets really frustrating really quickly. I’ve seen comparisons made to Mullet Mad Jack, and while there are similarities I ultimately feel that MMJ is the better game. It’s less punishing, and the overall moment to moment gameplay is more engaging, not to mention the graphic design allows for better optimization. It feels smoother, both in gameplay and performance. I was pretty excited when this came out, and I was a bit surprised it phased out of the spotlight never to be spoken of again. Until I played it, now I understand.

TLDR: unoptimized mess, repetitive challenges, more frustrating than fun. I guess they wanted you - the player to be the anger in the title. Well, job succeeded I guess.
