This game is cool but for ♥♥♥♥ sakes make it free before it dies

Well if so, spend your money on this! (Especially on that cheeky sale ;) )

The title states it all, Max has gone Mad

I can easily recommend this game to any stealth fan after the patches. Yes it had a rocky start but now it seems to be flourishing and the game is great! If you ever played the first Dishonored, you will know what to expect here. The game isn't really long at all granted, I was playing medium, low chaos and as Corvo and it took me about 15 hours to complete whilst searching for loot too, but the game is meant to be replayed. So i am playing as Corvo again but on a high chaos and on hard mode, I plan to play as Emily next, low then high chaos and then a repeat but with no powers. The patches have fixed some problems like the random frame rate dips, not all of them, but some. I am playing on a GTX 960 4gb OC , 16gb RAM and a 67k AMD A10 and I am usually getting a stable 50-60fps on high. Hopefully, they will patch all of the issues in the next patch and it will be a near perfect game by then!

Im mixed on this one, granted the campaign is excellent in every respect but the game just feels too short handed. Sure you could factor that there is multiplayer and map editing but it just feels a minor addition. The campaign is approximately 11 / 12 hours long which is a decent length but there is no real variety in the game. It is all the same mechanics throughout and I hate to say it but the multiplayer component is lack luster and just feels like a COD wanna-be. There is little variety here with limited customisation and a lot of content behind a £29.99 season pass. The map editior component is questionable with only bringing a hour or two into the overall game span but is it worth buying? For the campaign, definately even though there is hardly any replay value in the game. For the multiplayer and editor? Definately not. The £39.99 is a way too big of a price tag for what you are getting even though it may overall be a polished game. Id wait for a steam sale (like there is now) but it honestly breaks me since i was a massive fan of all the previous DOOM's to say it's only worth a purchase on sale.

Think of the Hitman: Contracts mission Traditions of The Trade, now think of Thailand, excellent. Now mash them two up and boom you've got Bangkok baby!

So basically now that the 2 monthly episodes have been released, patches and fixes have been made and a lot more content has been added (More contracts, Elusive Targets, Escalation), i can now safely say that the game is worth the asking price for the moment.
(THAT IS FOR THE FULL RELEASE, NOT PURCHASING INDIVIDUAL EPISODES!!!!)

So basically a few things have been fixed such as the online DRM being buggy has stopped (although this 'Single-Player' game should not have added such a thing) and the frames-per-second has definately seen a improvement.

The Second Episode (Sapienza) and Third Episode (Marrakesh) has been released along with the bonus content which has been dropped today. Honestly the definate strongest episode so far has to be Sapienza with the amount of variety and challenges included, it just seems like more effort was put into it rather than the Marrakesh Episode.

At the moment I can now safely say this game is worth purchasing as weekly content is always being added with new objectives and targets. (THIS IS ONLY FOR THE FULL EXPERIENCE PACKAGE) and 3 bonus episodes are being dropped with 2 of them out today for my review update.

My only gripe with this game is that I wanted to play the two bonus episodes which are currently only available for those with the full package, but for some reason the game doesnt seem to be allowing me to do that as it sees I have only purchased the intro pack. This definately needs to be fixed immediately as i cannot review this bonus pack for the moment.

Otherwise this is a great game with some features being removed which was a major staple of the Hitman franchise such as the hidden sniper breifcase, the ability to customize weapons and take human shields but these are minor complaints. Other than that I reccomend this game to anyone who is a stealth fanatic/ Hitman fan or anyone who is seeking that sandboxy vibe.

I have to say this game has some great mechanics implemented within the game and the Paris stage (only stage available yet :/ ) is amazing but there is some flaws:

1. Firstly the game as stated before only has one actual stage other than the Beta stages (prologue / tutorial missions) which can be completed around 40 mins if played quickly. There is a good amount of replay but not enough for a full episodical release at a price of £39.99 at all

2. The game will run at a smooth...ish 60+ fps if you meet the requirements but dips are clearly evident.

3. The game at its current state is lacking content even for a episodical release.

At its current state i cannot reccomend the game with the lack of content for the moment but will probably recommend it in around 4+ months when the game is released (fully) and has patches to fix the various glitches. Even as a hardcore Hitman fan i cannot say to pick this one up at its current state!
