after the whole debacle with them using peoples cameras to spy on them I can not in goodness recommend this game. to anyone companies secretly spying on you through your hardware without telling you upfront is a federal crime.

oh shoot. I shouldnt like this as much as i do. its just a good rpg. well made story and world build are interesting.

Gameplay and mechanics all function and work.

You unlock stuff as you play and its like playing a single player rimworld but your still the leader. if you dont know what rim world is.

I played my lute in town. my playing was so bad the crowd heckled me and one of them threw a bottle and hit me in the head nearly killing me.

cant skip cut scenes

poor optimization stuttering

excessive hand holding

audio sync issues (lip sync)

no aim assist for controller (if it exists its console only or so none existent it doesn't help)

lack of freedom of choice

dei leadership & dei lackluster writing(personal preference )

video's failing to play
scenes don't play or fail to load (pc this can be fixed by turning vsync fast off and changing to on ps5 apparently also has this issue. but no fix known )

worth maybe 10 bucks at most just a mid magic shooter on rails with linear story

great idea for an IP poor execution (EA fed this new studio to the wolfs. ea doing what they do best destroying all its competition)

Games Busted and broken still , BUT HELL CRAM Micro-transactions in F that the studio has gone to ♥♥♥♥, i hope Microsoft kills it.

don't executives of companies realize that a game should be solid and built well before you start cramming side hustle micro transactions into every nook and cranny the Government will let you without it being registered gambling.

if you want to play this game wait for a 15 dollar sale. this isnt skyrim this is like if fallout4(was cut in half) than had a retarded child with a bad space film. about walking for hours around on dead planets with nothing to do. (mining naw you cant carry that your over burdened) life nope this planets empty (as are 97% of them least its accurate)

Every NPC is important , so you cant ever go on killing spree's(so that's not fun) the story and quests are bland. the leveling is crippled by goals that need to be met like kill 100 guys with lasers which isnt horrible but you have to make a concentrated effort to level up specific skills. so the whole time your playing instead of leveling/having fun, your counting laser blast kills wow nothing say's fun like counting dead people

like oh god i better use boost while in this flying battle or ill have to go through another 30 minutes of cut scenes to find another one. (my god the cut scenes NONE OF THEM ARE SKIPPABLE and they REPLAY THEM OVER AND OVER AGAIN)

the first time you find a naughty item (smuggle items/ contraband ) the game forces you to get caught so it can rick roll you into a forced mission given by the most bland black dude impersonator of a self important a $$ hat. that treats you like a dominatrix looking to make you her play thing. and if you refuse well you cant because they are all tag'd important and refuse to die because the game dev's decided it.

you want to modify ships to make a hulk well screw you. cant have more than 1 reactor and to get better reactors you have to level flight skill and pass the equivalent of the drivers test and we all know how fun the DMV is.

the people who designed these mechanics should be shot 100 times over with a laser rifle. least than they would contribute something.

oh wait "Fleet" is what they call the ships you own, but it's more like a garage. Only one is ever active at a time. they give you the impression that you can assign people to other ships, but you can only assign them to your active ship and whatever outposts you have.

SO you will only ever be outnumbered and alone in every space battle unless the quest dictates you get help.

game needs so optimization bugs here a there nothing too game breaking.
had 1 DC for a 4 hour multiplayer session not horrible. loading map is attached to host and can get glitchy.
boss's can be easier with a friend if your souls vets. most deaths where because of falling. the jumping should be when running or not. its very confusing to have to sprint and push a dedicated jump button that requires you to sprint... besides that games decent. the evil world on death is a great mechanic and having to switch between keeps area's fresh because the map feels different when you in the underworld. magic and lamp targeting could use some work its very floaty or too snappy at times. or doesnt select the enemy your trying to swap too.

its from soft its armored core what more can i say than.. hey its not Otogi - Myth of Demons but it is good.

review Time lets start with the bugs. teleporting guards, freezing ai , operatives can get hurt while not controled , falling through the map and other small bugs ,
game is poorly designed the normal operatives all suck on purpose to give you incentive to buy some from the store which they shoved right in the normal menu so you have to scroll past it every time your flipping through for map or stuff.
very left leaning bs shoved in game if you political and you care. the radio doesnt play when you walking around you dont have a phone screen like the previous two games. the hacks are middle ground lame, because of special operatives selling point.
at most a 10 dollar game because you have to buy operatives and season pass to make the game funish.
resistance mode is good but because you cant turn off permadeath in resistance mode you end up losing special operatives to jank. OH and the game is very anti white operatives most all white operatives suck ass this is by design because ubisoft leftish bs probably if thats a sticking point for you id suggest passing on the game entirely. oh an ubisoft connect(nuf said)
