The story for me is not as gripping as 1 and 2, but a great game never the less.
The gun play is great. cover is useful, it was one of the must have things at the time of the game's release, after gears of war so of course it's there. Overall I think more people today should play it. It's much more modern than the previous 2 so for an average Joe it will be easier to pick up and play, for better or worse. Good game.

I was not expecting much from this game, seeing how these types of games usually end up, but I was pleasantly surprised.
The world is beautiful, combat feels good and the story is ok. could've used some more stuff and things, but no game is perfect. Can recommend this one.

This game just feels hollow.
Goes to show that Valve must've played a part in L4D being as good of a game as it was.
The one thing I liked about it is I didn't have to pay the full price for it and that's about it.
Probably won't be coming back to this one.

Edit 2022:
1,08k hours. played since late 2017. Jaded AF but keep coming around.
Fun from time to time, but nothing will bring back the times we had in 2018-2019.
Just like in life some things aren't meant to last. People grow up, get married, get jobs, have kids. Some pass on. and finding time to come back together just seems like too much of an effort. In that sense, it is the perfect (insert an IRL group activity here) simulator.
