Dark fantasy RPG/ARPG/Metroidvania's are my favorite games. From Software's library and many of it's imitators, Diablo, Hollow Knight and Blasphemous.

Shooters are great. I have been playing Counter-Strike since 1.5 and still suck but love to play. Apex Legends, Valorant and Spectre Divide are all great too.

I also love sci-fi/horror games. Silent Hill, Resident Evil, Warhammer 40k, etc.
