Dishonored is probably one of the best games made in the 2010's so far.

The gameplay mechanics, in the way of combat, pacing, level design, and abilities, are perfect.
Combat is weighty and satisfying. Easy to learn, difficult to master.

The abilities (blink especially) are fun to use, don't feel tacked on or gimmicky. The game never requires you to use them, they are there for you to use as you wish, and enjoy them if they apply to you.

The world of Dishonored, Dunwall, is fascinating.

This is very much a game that makes you feel like you're in a place, not a level.

The characters and people you meet along the way are interesting and strange, and the whole cast of voice actors are fantastic and very talented.

The music is amazing as well, whenever I hear music that is even similar I am instantly brought back to Dunwall.

The ending still gives me shivers to this day, the music and the emotion just gets me!

If you havent played Dishonored yet you really need to, it's an amazing experience and crazy fun.

Software Inc. Is my all time favorite Simulation game.

Its detailed, but not too complex, involved, but not too hands on, and just gives the classic Civilization delemma of "Just one more turn"

I have stayed up well past 6am building the perfect office building, micro-managing my team, buying enemy companies, pulling patents out from under the competitors...

I love Software Inc., and it deserves much higher praise.

A worthy succesor to the already fantastic Dishonored, a perfect sequel in the sense that it is more of the same, but with enough updates and changes that it feels new and fresh. Everything about Dishonored 2 feels like an improved version of it's predecessor. Serkonos is also one of the most intricatly detailed worlds in gaming currently available.
The story is good up to the end, where it feels murky, the ending to the first game I felt was impactful, and really resonated with me. This ending felt rushed, and awkward. No sense of closure for many reasons, as if it is setting up a third entry into the series.
The performance was abysmal at launch, but the current beta patch allows me to run the game at a flawless 60 fps on high settings (GTX 970, i5 3570, 16gb of RAM) so I am updating my previous negative review.
Please, release better ports in the future. Fans of your games will wait longer for your quality, Arkane.

Played for about 3 hours with my buddy (Took forever to find him, and was killed many times by people, usually on sight with no warning) and we finally started to make a base. This was good and fine and all, but it was difficult to find a place to make camp, cause we didn't want to be near anyone else's huge fortress. Unfortunately, this became hard so we found somewhere relatively away from other encampments. We were finally starting to get our footing and then some douche came through and murdered us both. I asked why while wounded on the ground, and he started complaining that we built our base too close to his fortress, some 200-300 feet away. then he shot me.
I didn't have fun, because the struggle was wasted, and the end results gave me nothing to feel satified about.
It felt like work, just so that some goof could run up and shoot us, us both being pretty meagerly armed.
It was fun for a bit, but I'd prefer to play on a private server with a group of friends with some interest in role-playing or something, because this game is more for people who lose at counter strike, and prefer targets that can't shoot back.
WOULD ONLY RECOMMEND PLAYING WITH FRIENDS, PRIVATE SERVER, NO RANDOMS.
