It's still early days, but...

-The customization really stands out here. For both gameplay and cosmetics. I'm saying that for a series that was already known for this aspect. I could make this entire review focused on breaking down the options.

-Another bonus of all the customization? You're making your own content. The peoples you create can show up as NPCs in-game. Even free cities can show up with a culture you've made.

-The governor, province system, and dual production(1 building/1 unit) adds city management that was missing in the previous installment.

-More accessible combat options! Gone are the days of needing to reload your game if a battle went wrong or you misclicked. Feel free to speed up or slow down animations on the fly.

I haven't had the crashing issues others have spoken of. Perhaps they've already been patched.

Eh, it's fine. Some positive reviews make the game out to be an amazing, creative experience in destruction. You'll be let down.

Latency has gone up since release. Smooth gameplay has been replaced by dying behind walls, no more kill trades, getting hit by vehicles you leapt over, one shot melees from the front, etc.

Sound needs work. A player sprinting behind you is barely audible, a player shooting to your side sounds distant, and banshees sound quieter when right on top of you than mid-range.

Menus are designed for controllers.

Oh, and sometimes you don't earn progress for challenges. Your hard earned money at work.

Started off as a more interesting idler than most. Hey, I can actually interact with things! These games aren't comprised solely of spreadsheets and buttons!?

That feeling fades away as you progress further. Eventually, you'll just leave it up in the background for hours/days on end until you've gathered enough to unlock another milestone. Repeat. Repeat. Repeat.

Update: I got banned for either being teleported by a modder or for reporting said modder.

Previously: Ran into a hacker in a matchmaking game. Invincible. Went to report the player. Report button is grayed out...

Destiny 2 1.5: The Search for More Money is an action MMO shooter.

The writing is purposefully kept vague to make you think there's some deep story and lore(Hint: there isn't).

The gunplay is MEDIOCRE. The movement, SLUGGISH.

We killed the only character people even cared about could name.

We also couldn't implement a matchmaking system for raids because we're either:

A) Too lazy.
B) Incompetent.

Gosh, it is pretty though, ain't it?

Boring.

That's how I would summarize my feelings about Kenshi into one word.

Players go on and on about how there's so many things to do, so many possibilities. When I ask what they are, I'm met with,"You could build a farm. You could fight people." "And?" "Uhh... you don't get sandbox games!"

A single player sandbox RPG needs enough interactions in it, both between NPCs and for the player, for it to feel alive.

The only places with any activity seem to be cities, which sometimes get attacked at night. Everywhere else is just an "over 870 square kilometer" wasteland.

If it feels like my review is missing something, like more detail, that's because it is. Much like Kenshi.
