Early Access Review
You are a Lord you don't need to know how the stables made you just want it done. It's up to your villagers to get the ox go to the saw mill, put the planks on the build site, raise the rafters. I can't think of a single game that does this in this level of detail, Dwaft Fortress and Rim world do it but in code, Manor Lords delivers it in animation.

It's the definition of Early access a lot of features are not there and there's still a few variables without alias' in the GUI but the level of detail and grounded design has me very confident for it's future

While if offers a lot of promise there's so many points this falls down on as a learning tool. The AI doesn't obey any of the rules the sim sets out you'll have u-turns everywhere and roundabouts are alien to them. The spawn points are useless want to practise maneuvers there's a place for it but you have to drive there the sizes for the bays however aren't to scale so good luck. While you can turn off fuel consumption in free mode it isn't the default and you're given a thimbles worth to start.
The map design is really confusing and signposts are really hard to read or missing where they should be something like Eurotruck 2 shows how this should be done.

General mechanics of the car feel good but the FFB model is not there and there's nothing to adjust it.

It's all really quite confused and feels like the devs first project where they have just made choices based on their ability to implement rather than a clear design.
I would recommend BeamNG and a good knowledge about what you want to practise for a driving education aid. Sure you won't have the condescending popups that tell you when you messed up but you can easily setup scenarios there coupled with the updated everything that it works so much better than this,

Don't bother if you don't own a wheel

SnowRunner masterfully marries the serene experience reminiscent of the leisurely-paced gameplay in Euro-truck with the unpredictable thrills of rogue-like games. Every moment in this game is a delicate balance of relaxation and tension, where even a mere second's distraction can undo 40 minutes of strategic progress. Its 1:1 trade ratio is a game-changer, allowing players the freedom to take risks, and truly delve into an expansive selection of vehicles and attachments without financial penalty. An absolute must-play for those who crave both challenge and tranquility in their gaming adventures.

Game breaking bug in the mine spawned with no torch and keep glitching through the floor. So I can't see and can't move. The devs seem to have been made aware of these issues some time ago but obviously this is now abandoned. There's no manual check or save options so if you become a victim of the shoddy collision detection or any other bug you have to start the whole game again. The atmosphere is great when it runs but It'l take me a long while before I return to this.

A great twist on the Rouge format, stunning VGA like art-style that mixes east and west styles, like all the best rogue likes you'll be flying high before you fall.

Brute is a great mix of puzzler and shoot em' up with slight eliments of racing as you find yourself trying to take the perfect line to use as little fuel as possible. Challenging yet addictive with a great soundtrack and awesome pallette.

Very few rogue-likes really grab me. I enjoy them but Nuclear Throne has so much energy that it almost becomes a bullet hell at points coupled with some great tactics and really varied enemies and your in for some really tense moments. Really recomend this.

This was awesome as a HL2 mod even better stand alone. If you're the type of person that always plays BF and COD on HC mode or really enjoy Arma and Red Orchestra this is a great purchase. It rides the line perfectly between the sim like playstlyle whilst retaining the GUI and gamemodes more familar with the arcady shooters.
