Satisfactory is one of my all-time favorite games. The factory gameplay itself is a ton of fun and I logged tons of time on the game solo, but the multiplayer aspect takes it to the next level. It's great to send people off to work on some random project and then go check out their monstrosity of a creation afterwards since everyone builds and problem solves in a unique way. A totally underrated aspect in this game for me is the movement. There are several different items that enhance the movement as you play but just the slide jump alone makes it a ton of fun to traverse the world

This is a fantastic game that has only gotten better over time and I would absolutely recommend it

I first played Vampire Survivors January 2022 and it seemed like every couple weeks, the game would receive a large update adding new stages, weapons, characters, etc. This has continued even as recently as a few months ago. Every update has expanded the game in interesting ways and added to the overall package. Even the DLC was a great addition for a reasonable price.

This game is definitely something special for a great value and I would absolutely recommend to anyone that has a passing interest.

I have always been a Crash fan (even some of the bad ones). I was skeptical of this game upon release but having played it, I think it is good. However, I would never recommend someone go for the 106% if they want to have fun. I like challenging games, but most of the time going for the 106% in this game is just tedious. The N Verted levels are cool for like 1 or 2 per world, but I don't really see the point of having every level essentially copy pasted with a visual effect added and maybe slightly different mechanics (not necessarily good mechanics or visual effects). It does not differentiate it nearly enough from the regular levels to make them worth the effort of getting all the gems in them. In addition to this, the levels you play as another character exasperate this issue. You play as another character in a new section of a level for about 30 seconds and then you are dropped into a regular level you have already played. This means that some sections of certain levels you will play at a minimum 6 times during your 106% playthrough. I will give them credit that the box placement is a bit different on these levels, but it's essentially the same.

Also, the N Sanely Perfect Relics are pretty pointless. They aren't particularly hard and just seemed like a way to get even more mileage out of the levels. I don't really have much of an issue with the time trials. My biggest complaint on these is the triple spin. It isn't very hard to perform after you get the hang of it and I just felt like I was destroying my controller by repeatedly hitting the same button instead of pulling off cool movement tech. I wish it was just bound to a button like the sprint ability in previous games. In addition to this, the reward for 100% and 106% is pretty lackluster. The 100% ending was kind of a fun callback to previous games but probably isn't worth the effort.

Despite all the negative comments made in this review so far, I think this game is a step in the right direction for the franchise and, with some refinement, I think they could put out some great games. Level design, world themes, and writing are all fun and I enjoyed them thoroughly.

TL;DR Game is good. I would definitely pick it up on sale. Here's how I think you can maximize the fun you have playing: Play through all the normal levels. Try to get some gems/relics if you feel like it. Maybe check out 1 N Verted level per world

A beautiful game that expands brilliantly upon the excellence of The Blind Forest.
Definite recommendation for fans of the Metroidvania genre.

A beautiful and faithful recreation of some of my all time favorite games from my childhood. Getting a chance to replay the games perfectly satisfied my nostalgia itch and I could not help but smile as I played through them all over again.

As a big fan of the Portal series, this game scratched the same itch. It is one of the quintessential puzzle games out right now on pc. The puzzles can get really hard while still remaining fair. There is never an obscure solution that you cannot come to through normal gameplay. In addition to this, I also loved the story telling and atmosphere throughout the game. It may not be everyone's cup of tea, but I thoroughly enjoyed it. The VR version of the game is also great from what I have played so far. This is definitely one of my all time favorite games.

This was my favorite game of the year. Celeste is a great platformer that I believe will stand the test of time. I can foresee a future in which people look back on this game as fondly as other platforming classics like Super Meat Boy. The platforming is tight, the soundtrack is great, and the story is relatable. Mental health is a topic that I do not believe is touched on enough and this game handles the topic in a way that makes the characters both interesting and relatable. In addition to this, there is a ton of content in this game if you want a challenge. A great game that is well worth the price in my opinion.

Hollow Knight is definitely the best game I have played this year. Although I am biased towards Metroidvania games, this game has secured a spot on my all time favorites list based on its own merits. Not only is the gameplay great, but Team Cherry seem to legitimately care about their project. The amount of love and detail that went into every single area and character filled the game with unique personalities and amazing experiences. The art style is able to elicit emotions in a way that I did not know was possible for a video game to do. Because of all of this, Hollow Knight is one of the few games that made me want to explore everything that the game has to offer.

In addition to this, Hollow Knight has had multiple free updates that added great content to an already complete experience. Not only is the game dirt cheap, but the sheer amount of joy this game can bring makes it well worth the price in my opinion.

Typically I have issues completing story games, but this game kept me interested from start to finish. This game manages to tell a great story in very little time with no words actually being spoken in the game. The way that the control scheme is used to enhance the story is something I have yet to see replicated in any other game. Definitely worth the price in my opinion.
