This is a fun rhythm game. The object of the game is for the player to move the controllers into the path of the orbs, and dodge walls. It can be a full body workout depending on how you accomplish this feat. There are game modifiers that can be activated to make rounds more challenging.

For your own entertainment, you'll be interested in the custom song and mod community called Synth Riderz (notice the Z).

I purchased the official Caravan Palace music pack and essential electro swing pack, and am quite pleased with it. I love that they created a custom background for one of the songs.

If you're a streamer, I've heard that the 99 Lives music from the original game soundtrack is safe to stream. Always a good idea to check though. The devs are in the discussion boards and are both friendly and helpful.

I wanted to give this game a chance, but I can't get used to flying.
I'm using keyboard and mouse, which I understand the dev message says is not what it was designed for, but the remapping option in the controller settings is nearly impossible to deal with. If I try to pick a conflicting key to remap, rather than clear the other button, it requires the user to remap the next button, and then remap the previous button, and then remap another button.
The option can't even be backed out of. You'd think "just hit ESC and you'll get out of the remapping" but no, it remaps to the ESC button.
There are two modes for keyboard and mouse movement. In one, the mouse moves the camera, in the other, the mouse aims the bird, in both the game will have a tendency to lock in inverted controls, which I don't want.
I was able to get out of that by swapping through the controls until in was on regular again, but it doesn't always stay where I left it, because ESCing out of a menu is not the same as "save and close"ing out of a menu.

I didn't get past the tutorial mission. I currently regret buying this game. Maybe I'll give it another try later, but this was a bad first impression and I'm not eager to do so. I hate games where struggling with the controls is one of the most noticeable aspects of the game. There's a flying bird game called Feather. Much easier to control the bird in that.

A very straight forward hack-and-slash adventure game. Cute characters, forgiving respawn mechanic. No blood. Just a bit of fun.

The game is alright. If you ever played Phantasy Star Online before, it's exactly that. You can play it and you'll be getting that. It's good at being that.

The reason I would not recommend it is because of how heavily it tries to get players interested in gambling. There's a casino, scratch tickets and a bunch of one-time-use items which may or may not result in getting cosmetic items. Many of these things are not strictly premium currency activities, but they prime a person for not being wary of the concepts, which I would call dangerous.

The game itself though is expansive and flashy, with lots of music and community events. If you can focus on the gameplay or the cosmetics, you can enjoy your time. Just be warned that it's a pretty big download.

Also, the game tries very hard to encourage social interaction. So yes, it's a game, but more so it wants it to be a community. It's going to ask you to watch other people, leave them comments, play with others and do all these other little things to let people know you're playing together with real people. That may or may not be interesting to you.

Don't be fooled by my playtime. Steam doesn't know when I fall asleep while playing.
The music is mostly piano and very relaxing.
Superliminal is a puzzle game about perception. You will change the size of objects based on how they look, then use them to move around the room. Sometimes a solution is only possible when you look at it the right way (literally). Things may not immediately make sense.
It might help to remember a quote from Ender's game: "The goal is down."

Perky Little Things is a hidden object puzzle game that takes the player through multiple large semi-animated scenes.
The humor is crude and adult, but censors exist for those who want them. A good chance the player will grin at some of the popular media references.
I would say the scenes are silly and entertaining if you like raunchy humor. I wouldn't call this a must-have, it's just cheap laughs. A decent way to spend a couple hours though.
The two aids to help speed up finding answers is that scenes will glow when a corresponding object is held over them, and a hint magnifying glass is also in the corner. That will help a person who might get frustrated searching for something. Don't worry about that ruining achievements, none of them involve not using hints.

Pinball FX3 is kind of good for what it is. They breath a little life into old tables by adding animated features to the tables. There's also some original tables. The original tables are heavily animated, complete with cut scenes and have voice acting. Unlike Pinball FX2, FX3 has more of an emphasis on modding gameplay and multiplayer events. Though if you want to play solo, that is absolutely an option. Another cool thing about Pinball FX3 is that if you have a digital pinball cabinet, you can download it into your system and play it like a real pinball machine.

Forager is a pixel graphics survival game.
Manage your inventory space, collect resources, progress up the tech scale, battle enemies, feed your needs and survive, make a farm, expand your map for more exploration, build your home the way you want it, die and come right back.
There's hunting, fishing, mining, logging, farming, pets, fighting, and questing.
If you liked Stardew Valley, you'll like Forager. The main difference is there isn't a narrative story or a social interaction between characters.

Very relaxed game. Awesome soundtrack. Good to play with a controller.
The object of the game is to progressively roll over larger and larger objects which are smaller than you. As you roll over things, you get bigger.
The story is that your character has to build the galaxy using everyday random items.

If you enjoy games where the whole point is fighting the controls, then you'll probably have a blast with this. I don't enjoy that. I did not have a good time and couldn't get past the first stage. As for why I've got 4 hours playtime, I turned the game on and then fell asleep listening to the main menu music. Really I only played for like 20 minutes.
