Haven't played too much yet but wow I wasn't expecting to get treated this well as a huge fan of the movie. It runs perfectly on Steam Deck.

Not only are the game mechanics really fun, you are buried in what appears to be canon lore, the graphics are great, and the music is sooo good with the expansion upon the theme and songs from Le Matos on the movie OST.

Just that opening scene with an alternate version of Tequila Sunrise playing, mirroring the dialogue that is during the same song in the movie, whilst it showcased the smooth feeling BMX mechanics and great graphics - I got super hyped!

It's like a museum of coolness in here.

harpsichord, orchestral, edm, tight drum and bass, dragonforce, hackers (1995), the only man alive who uses bitcrushers correctly, 80s, have 3 albums with your soundtrack, FL studio chad, arps, 8 bit, native instruments komplete ultimate, breaks, steam exclusive album madlad, put all the genres in a blender, drums cutting through the mix like a hot knife through plant based butter, fantasy choirs, persona 5, homages to older songs, synyster gates but it’s the witcher, jazz-electro-funk has never been produced this well, layers upon layers of harmonic secrets to go back and find, this album should have achievements, key change, I hope he doesn’t get arrested for pitch bending a piano without a license, sometimes you forget how good aleks actually is, serum, slap bass, pitch bending 8 bit leads, monkey island, unironically the best dnb producer out there, triumphantly positively beautiful, irresistible dubstep, i recognised a stock sound from yoda stories (1997), risers, chopping those vox like sonny moore in 2011, trance, oh drumstep why not, amen breaks, Amen.

Great game if you're into drift physics! Had fun completing all the achievements and wish for more!

Redoing the grind over and over and over to prepare for fortresses basically ruined the game for me

Great game, upgrade from the last. Fantastic graphics. Imported my old stuff fine. Servers were down for the first hour, but the offline mode let me enjoy the game anyway. Unlike many, I saw how much the game costs before I bought it - and whilst it was a little steep, I'm still happy as I know I'm going to get my moneys worth from it.

New engine feels great. VR was uncalled for and I would encourage anyone looking for a VR experience to wait or not buy this at all - as I honestly don't think they will ever be able to make it work smoothly at all due to the nature of the various mechanics of this series (eg. climbing) being tricky to translate to room scale VR.

Funny, fluid, charming, creepy, enticing, polished. Worthy if not superior as a successor to the first game.

Well worth the wait!
