Not sure if you still play FF Type-0, but if you are wondering how to train your chars long term, you can stick to the old fashioned grind, or abuse the training arena/computer clock glitch.

1) Select your character as the main character
2) Go to the arena and talk to the right NPC to do secret training
3) The game will ask you to save. Do so, then it will bring you back to the main menu
4) Alt-tab out to your desktop
5) Change your computer time to two days ahead of your current time
6) Load the saved game
7) Get all the exp rewards and stuff
8) Alt-tab out to your desktop and restore the date/time
9) Repeat for all characters until your heart is content
