Very fun with friends. A good length. Enjoyed all aspects of the game. Was nice to be able to adjust the world for the number of players we had which cut the grindy elements down.

I really enjoyed this game more than I thought I would. Still thinking back to my time with it more than a year later. If you like first person RPGs in a medieval setting, this one is a no brainer.

Great improvement to great single player game. Plenty to do and challenging if you want it to be. Playing with friends makes for different experience and the new content and skins keeps it jazzed up.

Nice and short. Full of great puzzles. Pretty cool that you can play without needing to be digitally connected.

For people worried about the difficulty of this game:

Play on radiant.
Mess around with the gameplay settings to find what you are comfortable with.
Use wikis when you want to (I did).
Let go of getting upset when heroes die, they will die and it's okay.
Stick to the easy dungeon until you feel comfortable, then move up to the next difficulty. It's okay if you have to then leave after the first fight in that dungeon because you got beat up in a blink of an eye (like I did).
It is turn-based, remember you can take as long as you want to take your turn.

The best thing about this game is you can't really lose. As long as you have enough money for supplies, you can keep hiring new heroes and trying again and again until you get good at the gameplay.

After 80 hours of starting new games over and over again I found it extremely satisfying to stick with a save file and push through to completion. It took me 120 hours (I was not rushing) to beat the game and all of the dlc and it was fantastic.

If you are looking to play the game but are afraid of how hard it is. Just give it a go and I promise that you can find a way to make it enjoyable like I did :)
